Is it Kroger policy to ID anyone who touches an alcohol bottle? Yesterday I was at the Royal oak Marketplace purchasing items, including alcohol. I Had my son with me who is 20. He was only there to assist me in my shopping. I was the one purchasing the whole cart full of items. It was 4:30 pm and there was only 1 register open. after waiting in line for a half of an hour, we finally got to the register. My son started putting our items on the cart, like he always does when we go shopping. The cashier rudely asked for his ID. I told her that It was mine and I was the one making the purchase. She said it didn't matter, he had already touched it, so if she didn't see his ID, the alcoholic items couldn't be purchased. She said that they would lose their license if she didn't see his id. My son didn't bring his wallet with him. There was no need to. He wasn't driving or making any purchases. She was not going to let me make my purchase if he was there. I told him to go to the car. I had to put all of my items back in my cart and get out of line. Then wait another 20 minutes to get back up to the same register. Once there, there was no "I'm sorry" or any form of compassion or remorse from the cashier. Upon further research, I have found absolutely NOTHING that states If someone touches a bottle of alcohol, then they have to show their id. What if my child was younger and was helping me. Would you ask for a 10 yr old's id? And how presumptuous is the cashier who asks for the young man's ID when his 50 yr old mother is with him and clearly stated that the items were for her. It is instances like this that make it very hard for me to want to continue to shop at Kroger. I plan on letting everyone I know how "Customer Friendly" you are!

I will not be going back to Kroger EVER! Done. Done. Done. ? I submitted a large ($200) click list order two days ago, and was scheduled to pick up yesterday at 6pm. I arrived at my scheduled time, right at 6pm, and checked in. I waited for FORTY minutes. I received a call at 640pm and was told that one of my totes came up missing and they were out in the store finishing the shop to complete my order “it’ll be twenty more minutes”. I had plans and could not wait any longer and was told that I could return today at ANY TIME to pick up my order, no need to schedule a time. Also that I would be given a $25 gift card for my inconvenience. Ok…. So, I got out of work this evening and looked forward to picking up my grocery order. I arrived a couple minutes before 6pm and waited. Two cars arrived after me, received their orders and drove away. I called out “excuse me, excuse me! Can you please tell me the status of my order”. The guy said “ hey, I hear ya. We’re getting your order together now.” A couple minutes later, another guy came out to inform me that they had RETURNED ALL OF MY ORDER BACK TO THE SHELVES….. whaaaaaaaaaat ?!?! ? I’m done with that place. Forever. I stuck with them through the pandemic and showed patience and understanding when they were short staffed and the lines were 30 minutes long… but this I can’t forgive ? and especially after waiting FORTY minutes last night ?

This location is poorly managed. I was unable to pick up a scheduled purchase and finally had to cancel after no one seemed to know why, as I sat waiting, my 8pm pickup became an 11am pick up with no prior notification. According to dismissive Manager Bill, it wasn't his job to find out.

I have shop to this store several times and I had the most horrible experience and I will never shop here again!!! I came to this store where I had roses and a cake which was reserve for me. As I got in the store I picked up more items. While in the self checkout I'm checking out not thinking about anything. My son say mommy that lady is watching you and keeps walking over here. If I'm able to post the receipt on here I will! So I looked and this young lady name Patricia comes over to me and say are you going to pay for the roses? I looked at her and said girl please leave me alone with the nonsense. She then gets a younger guy and they both looking at me which I later found out Patricia told him to watch the people with the flowers..... First of all, the flowers were the 1st thing I ring up and secondly I wasn't even finished my order she approach me in the middle of my transaction. After I finished my purchase I spoke the manager at customer service which I didn't appreciate at all the way I was treated. The young lady had 2 options she could've look on her screen to see what transactions I rung up already, or she could've wait until I was done the transactions to see if I was going to ring it up. She choose to tell the boy to Watch me???? My question what gives her the right or even tell someone to watch me? WHAT would make her think I'm going to steal when that's the first item I rung up. I'm wondering if I was a white woman would she had done that. I'm a business owner and I to have my own store!!!!! So I don't appreciate the way I was treated and you must watch who your talking to because you never know who people are. PATRICIA!!!!!

Bottle return is never open, staff is incredibly rude. They never have anywhere near enough registers opened. The story they can't get help is BS. 3 different college age kids in my neighborhood have applied and gone in to the store to talk to the manager. NEVER CALLED ANY OF THEM BACK. One already is a cashier at the dollar tree across the street. Since has experience and is local. Place is just being run on the cheap.

No electric shopping carts EVER. Always broken dead etc. WHY CANT YOU FIX CARTS ? Apparently you don't want elderly or disabled people at your store, last time I was here a lady with oxygen tank was stuck in isle dead and no one would help her. I contacted front desk. Sorry no carts.

Before shopping here, I didn't realize this store was larger and offered greater selection of home goods than traditional Kroger locations. It was such a pleasant surprise! I was in a hurry and needed a can opener to make dinner. I was prepared to get something basic -- something adequate but not as nice as what I would have gotten if I had more time to research or shop around. Ladies and gentlemen, this store sells no fewer than five can openers! I was not only able to make dinner that night but also feel good about the purchase the next day. Better still, the can openers were on sale for buy one, get one half off with a Kroger card, so my shopping companion got one too and we saved $12.

I really loved shopping here, especially because of the great variety of organic and vegan products all in one place...But I won't be back. Lately, it's always something... No shopping carts in front, few (if any) cashiers with even self checkout lines stretched to the back of the store, products sometimes less than fresh and frozen items partially defrosted or obviously refrozen. Today's Kroger adventure involved two different sale items that didn't process in the self checkout, along with one item that scanned multiple times. The system required "An Attendant" to edit, but no one seemed available. Standing there, not able to process my order and leave and unable to get any assistance made me realize how utterly ridiculous it was for me to keep coming back to this horrible store.

What I like about Kroger in general is that they seems to have good prices on certain items like lard, flour, some dried beans, and possibly certain other stuff. I thought this store was impressive when it first opened. This is one of those marketplace stores that have an expanded general merchandise section. But I bought a pair of shoe laces there today, took them home, tried them, realized that they were too short, and then I went back to the store to try exchanging them for a longer pair. I was told that the customer service desk was closed and would open at 8am. I didn't think there could be such a thing as the store being open but no staff present willing or able to operate the customer service desk. The store manager I talked to very briefly made no attempt to try taking care of my problem. The other employees I talked to were snippy, would not let me talk to the top manager again, and seemed to act like I was asking for something I should not be asking for. Like I was the problem and not them. I'm not sure whether I will avoid all Kroger locations or just this location.

Too crowded , people not wearing masks , only 2 cashiers in the entire place. Out of many items , employees stocking in the middle of the day , with boxes & carts blocking the aisles. It's like a obstacle course to shop. Went to self check out and employee wouldn't let me use a credit/debit without a pin , said it was store rules. But found out later , that was a lie. The STARBUCKS is a joke ! Took 20 minutes to get one coffee with two employees working behind the counter. And I was their ONLY customer ! The employees were wearing old sweatshirts and jeans , no STARBUCKS apron or name tags. Had absolutely no knowledge of their job , and looked as if they were just pulled over from the meat department. No masks, no hand sanitizers , no washing hands. Just Gross 1?

This is one of the new Kroger "superstores", or Marketplaces, as they call it, with a more expansive selection of merchandise than the average supermarket. The place is big and takes some getting used to, but once you learn where things are at, you'll be able to find almost everything you need. The facility is clean and conveniently located, and like most Kroger stores, the employees are friendly and very helpful.

Nice store, good selection, click-list works well. In-store shopping is terrible due to the huge check-out lines. Store only ever has one bank of self-checkout open and never enough tills open. Has been like this for months.

Always have a great experience here. Customer service was always great when I come here for pick up. Great selection of food. Made shrimp salad with the ingredients I bought from Kroger. Pick up was pretty quick and easy. Friendly employees.

These check out lines are ridiculous. It doesn't matter what time of day you go. Expect to wait at least 45 minutes to cash out.
