Had a craving for cheesecake and the delivery company suggested THIS bakery among some other more well known companies. So I decided to try something new- placed an order and I'm SO GLAD! I had an issue with the delivery company but the owner went above and beyond to make things right and made sure I received my order. SO FRIENDLY...SO ACCOMMODATING...and the cheesecake...BAAABBBYYY! Satisfied my craving and then some! The cheesecake was so thick and creamy and so delicious! I loved it, my kids loved it...it made our Valentine's Day complete! ❤️

I was stoped by the owner and invited into his business. He drew my attention by his over-the-top personality he told me that I would thoroughly enjoy his cheesecake, which I did it! The cheesecake like a slice of heaven in my mouth. Not only great customer service but the cheesecakes were wonderful. Smooth with a sweetness of fruit, was more than expected. I would definitely recommend this awesome gourmet cheesecake.

My sister and I stopped in the other day. We looked at his limited supply of cheesecakes in the display case. Asked a few questions perused the baking area which was clean and neat.Mr. Washington was very detailed about his establishmentt and the types and flavors of cheesecakes he makes. I purchased a small strawberry cheesecake which he took from the freezer.When I tell you this Cheesecake was on point it was delicious melted in my mouth and had my taste buds singing MERRY CHRISTMAS!I know cheesecakes and I give this one a 100%.I am placing my orders tomorrow.Thank You!

On assignment for Doordash, I came to Mr. Washington's bake shop in Southfield. I quickly found him to be a colorful character with passion and care for making "Da best cheesecakes"His story began when he was married to his 2nd ex-wife, she would brag how her ex-husband made excellent cheesecakes. He told me he had to put a stop to that immediately and prove that he can do better. He did!! And so his journey began.He learned how to make gourmet cheesecakes form a mentor/baker in Jackson Mi and really honed his skills to become one of metro Detroit's best.He is offering his amazing cheesecakes to 4 Meijer Fresh outlets and continues making them for the general public and restaurants across the area.I highly recommend. Very good and fresh ingredients go onto his cakes and I personally had both the caramel apple strudel and the triple chocolate. SOOOOO DELISH!! Let him know you read my review and I am sure he will whip you up something special.

Hands down the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! My husband told me to go here as he referenced Washington’s Gourmet Cheesecake’s as the best cheesecake he’s ever had, and he was right! I picked up a few flavors (Oreo, peach cobbler, strawberry swirl, key lime and Carmel apple)for a Friendsgiving, and my friends loved them! I will be back, and I would suggest this establishment to anyone looking for amazing cheesecake. Plus Victor has the best customer service to go along with his gift of making these amazing cheesecakes! ♥️♥️

I had the opportunity to try Washington's cheese cake today. I tried the strawberry cheesecake. WOW, it was awesome, delicious, heavenly, really good. It had two layers an original filing and the other layer was filled with clumps of strawberries and a good graham filing. Must try for yourself, Not Your Mother's Cheesecake. "Will be back"

Let me start by saying, Mr. Washington's Gourmet Cheesecakes are by far the absolute best! I'm talking better than Junior's Cheesecakes of New York and than that of my favorite Aunt's (she'd probably kill me if she knew I said that). Anyway, back to Mr. Washington's decadent desserts. I wanted to have cheesecake to celebrate my birthday, and my family thought to bless me with four different flavors of cheesecake from Mr. Washington. And let me tell you that the flavors were all there! I was more than pleasantly surprised by how amazing they were! Each flavor was better than the next!!!! They were so good that we forgot to take pictures. And, my sibling who does not...(Correction: who did not) even like cheesecake was darn near licking his plate. Better yet, he actually did lol. I can't wait to return to get more cheesecake in the very near future and I suggest you all do the same if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed!
I absolutely love, love, love this place! The cheesecake was the perfect consistency, the graham cracker crust was very good, and the flavors were delicious! To top it off, the customer service from Mr. Washington himself was superb! I will definitely be a faithful return customer.

I got the caramel Apple Strudel… wow. My family agree it was better the next day (and gone the day after that!) so maybe it needs one more evening to fully set and let the flavors really shine. My husband brought a good portion of it to his office where everyone wanted to know where it came from. We’ll be back! Owner was really friendly too, more than happy to give him our business.

Fabulous cheesecakes! They made a flavor they didn't have in stock fresh for my dinner party same-day. That kind of customer service alone would have made me a repeat customer, but the flavor, texture and creaminess of the cheesecake has guaranteed it! How you can make a cheesecake so rich and creamy, yet light is a mystery. I'm just glad I found them.

I got the Turtle cheesecake to share with my fiancé and family. We all loooooved it! There wasn’t too much chocolate where it was overpowering and the pecans on top provided a delightful crunch. The cookie crumble crust didn’t fall apart like some cheesecake crusts do. Upon arriving to the store, the staff was incredibly helpful in selecting the right cheesecake for us and our tastes. I highly recommend this place and will be returning!
