What a quaint location in a historic home! There is a nice feeling of privacy as there are only a handful of tabled in each of the several rooms. The server was very kind even if a bit inexperienced. The escargot was very good and a generous size portion. The loaded baked potato soup was unremarkable. The New York was well seasoned and cooked to order.Stop by, listen to Don at the piano, have a meal, and see for yourself.

What a cool place. The interior was very nice. It was a slow night due to the weather but we had a wonderful meal. The service was great, the food was great and was a great venue. We had the white fish, lamb chops, a steak, and a pasta dish, and everyone enjoyed their meal.

The artichoke dip was the best I've ever had, I ordered the Oscar, it was divine! This is such a unique place. The new chef, owner, and pianist all bring their wonderful energy to provide a beautiful experience. The other patrons were just as pleased to be there and said as much also. Thank you, I'm excited to come back.

I recently spent a most enjoyable evening with several friends at the Ardmore Cafe. It was like having friends at my house for an evening without having to cook and clean. We were cozy in an almost private room, had a delicious meal while listening to piano music coming from the next room. After dinner we joined the piano player and sang along with him. Will definitely go back for more!

We celebrated my husband's birthday at the Ardmore tonight. We had the pleasure of being seated by the talented pianist. The strawberry goat cheese crostini was amazing! I enjoyed my steak a great deal too. I didn't get a picture of dessert, but when the chef came to check on us, she said the brioche was picked up fresh at Eastern Market from Cannelle (always exceptional!) So if you are lucky enough to come on a night when she makes the chocolate berry brioche bread pudding, order it!

Please be aware there are new owners. Very nice and quaint Victorian decor. They have an extensive menu with many of the same choices. However, they aren't necessarily using the same recipes. I have eaten at this restaurant at least a dozen times in the past couple of years. I always order their Maurice salad. It WAS so good. Once I started to eat my salad, I noticed it wasn't the same salad. They changed the dressing. I commented that my salad tasted different than when I had it previously and they told me they changed the dressing. The portion size was smaller than before also. We were a group of six ladies. Service was very slow. The server was not well versed on their menu and in my opinion, didn't deserve the automatic 20% added to our bill.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch and tasty cocktails at The Ardmore restaurant. This unique and charming gem is located off Little Mack in St. Clair Shores. Handling four ladies at lunchtime is not always an easy task... but Wess welcomed us with a big smile and superior service. The Chef checked on us to ensure the meals met our expectations (which they did). We truly enjoyed the comfortable and relaxing environment. This was an experience, not just a meal. Give it a try!

I went with 10 people. The food, and service was great, and restaurant was charming. We were very happy with our experience. Please update your website. We almost didn't go because we thought it was closed. With new ownership and new hours , we need to know.

We've driven by this charming 1870's house on Little Mack several times and finally decided to have dinner there. Pleasantly surprised. Lovely relaxing ambiance (the house is even more time-travel beautiful inside), outstanding service, friendly people including Don at the piano playing the Great American Songbook. Full menu and very reasonable prices considering the quality of the dining experience and food. Wife had the pork roast, I had the stuffed whitefish with Cajun seasoning (bam!). Both dishes were prepared with obvious care and very flavorful. Had the pleasure of meeting new (since last November) Chef/Co-owner, Emily, who enthusiastically talked about her plans and where she wants to take the restaurant. We are very happy we tried this place and will definitely be back. 4 stars for today, but only to leave room to award Emily's future efforts.

I just completed a secret proposal/ party at the Ardmore, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The venue was perfect for it!! The rouse was that it was a family Christmas dinner, but all our other family and friend's were behind the curtain in the adjoining room. They let us bring instruments and perform to bring her into the other room! After the proposal, the Food and Drinks were absolutely top notch! We had the salmon and steak, both were absolutely fanyastic!!Desert was a cheesecake for me and it was amazing as well! Emily is one of the new owners, right from the start she went above and beyond to help me plan out the evening! She is so friendly and energetic! Her wine taste is exceptional as well, she helped us pick the perfect toast wine! She called and touched base with me regularly and was flexible where needed! I really could not have asked for anything more 10/10 for food, 11/10 for customer service, 10/10 for beautiful Victorian venue/ atmosphere. Very grateful for all the help and the amazing experience!!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible for my Mom.

First time there for lunch. We had a group of six. The service was great and Chef Emily served up some amazing entrees. I had the pork tenderloin with an apple, walnut & raisin glaze cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back!

The food was terrible! Wait time was terrible!Took forever to get drinks! The bread that we asked for many times over took almost an hour to get and then it was these little dumplings. I could go on and on. Dan the piano man was phenomenal! There were only 2 other parties besides us. The place was 10% occupied during the busiest time of the year! So that speaks for itself, stay away!
