I've never left a restaurant before ordering. After 10 minutes of being ignored... we left. There were 3 others there. It was comical.

The food is honestly incredible but the wait time is the worst I've ever experienced. I ordered online and received my receipt at 5:22pm for pick up with the website stating the order would be ready to pick up in about 25 minutes. We did not get our food until 7pm. The told us when we arrived around 6:15 that it would just be another 15 minutes. So we left and came back only to wait another half an hour before getting our food. If we were dining in it would be one thing but takeout taking and hour and a half is insane. I don't know why they seem constantly short staffed but please get some more staff members!

Some of the best Indian cuisine! Unfortunately, they have poor time management as a business. Expect to wait an hour longer for your food than when they will say it will be ready.

Super disappointed in the of lack of care for the money I spent. We have been customers of Deshi for at least two years. Generally the food is on point. Today I put an order in which contained hokka noodles they were at a high spice level. My fault for not being clear. I reorder and called the store in Clinton Twp and said please no or very little spice. I have ordered this dish many time with no spice level or very little. The second order came and again extremely hot. I called the store in Clinton Twp but he said his English was not go enough to understand. I then called and asked if both stores were owned by the same person, the man said yes. I asked if there was a way I could be in contact with that person. The man on the phone would not listen to what happened and just talked in circles cutting me off but did offer a sorry. I asked if I could just tell him what happened and he then over talked me and I just gave up and said bye. Very disappointed and wasted money on two orders that went in the trash.

The staff was super nice! The food was really tasty but fair warning, their version of mild is still really spicy. I ordered mango chicken very very mild, but it was so hot I added about a third of a cup of sour cream to cut the heat and it was still spicy.

The staff is the best part I guess... and my experience with them is limited so unfortunately I can't give that a fair assessment. I've eaten here once before years ago when they first opened and wasn't impressed. Still not impressed. I live next door and would gladly travel extra time/ distance for better Indian food. Service was friendly and respectful. Never dined it but it wasn't dirty when I was there. The food is just....bleh. it's strange. Like its made from seasoning/sauce packs/mixes rather than scratch made over time. The flavors are there...yet...Somehow, they aren't as deep and rich as they should or could be. I mean them no I'll will. Which is why I have a generous 3 stars... but im genuinely surprised they're so highly rated and in buisness. Good luck though

Food is good. No buffet

I had cut mirchi here and it was really tasty. I suggest you to have it there instead of take-away. Gobi manchuria was good but not spicy.

The food is amazing, always delicious with unique flavors and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.
