We picked up my bonus daughter in Hazel Park and we aren't from Oakland County. We were looking for somewhere to eat before we went to the movies and this little diner popped up. Where ever my husband saw the restaurant first it only had a three seat review, so we were a little hesitant but we went ahead and gave it a try.We are so glad we did. We were greased immediately and the waitress pointed out where the booths to fit 5 people were. The food is great. A lot of coneys and diners are extremely greasy and over seasoned, my menieres appreciates that everything isn't loaded down with salt. We will definitely be returning when we get our daughter from this side of town.

I got a grilled chicken pita meal. The fries tasted like leftover from yesterday, chicken on my pita was hard and only a few pieces, the cheese wasnt melted just horrible. Now my stomach hurts. Worse $14 spent! Will NEVER return even if the meal was free.Update: Im not calling any place to get an order remade because your cooks knew they threw together TRASH when my “food” was prepared. Maybe you all should include 2 pieces of chicken instead of 1 and GRILL it . I dont care what you say the fries were TRASH old and cold. I work at a nearby nursing home, i shared my experience and almost everyone felt the same about the food. Its trash. Have a nice day.

Not going to lie I’m very disappointed. I just ordered a grilled chicken pita meal 11/29/2023 and it was mediocre and very small with little to no meat ! I traveled to Uniques because I seen good reviews I had options to go to Jimmys Coney Island and Leo’s which are all close to my home but wanted to give them a try and they failed me. For now on I’m going to stick to what I know. They could have did better for the price I paid my meal was not worthet and I had to use ranch from my home . Sorry not sorry but won’t go there again!

First time coming here.. Service was fast! I ordered the unique pita with fries. No complaints. Everything tasted great ? And there homemade ranch was delicious. Will be coming here again.

Super friendly service, and very patient. We ended up staying past their opening hours, not knowing they were closing up. We were never rushed, and they kept up with great service. Food options were good for a coney/diner as well.Kid-friendliness: Were super patient with our kids. Very friendly.

The chicken lemon rice is excellent!!! My 84 year old aunt said it reminded her of the way her mom (and my yia yia) made it when she was growing up. Will be back for more!
