I honestly love the food and customer service, excellent location next to my residence. The staff members are always super friendly. Highly recommended.

Nothing special at all. Portions are unspectacular and the freshness wasn't anything to write home about. Though they are already doing dining in...the environment isn't that great. I think they're also currently slow because they're trying to hire waitstaff. The Sushi chefs couldn't communicate with me in English so there is that mild aspect of authenticity? Maybe. Much prefer Bluefin tuna or Asahi or Goblin.

Took the family here for a late lunch. Place is very clean staff is friendly. The trouble began after we ordered. My son didn't get his miso soup or rice and we had to ask for it to get it. My food was never put in to be made, 1 of my sushi rolls were not made until i asked about it. Then the bill comes. And I give them my card to pay and I get 2 notifications from my bank for 2 separate charges. They didn't put the roll i had to ask for on my original receipt and without saying anything or explaining they just ran my card twice. The sushi was also sub par. My sons chicken teriyaki was very good though. I would recommend choosing another restaurant if you're looking to have an enjoyable meal. And i mean literally any other restaurant.

Warm and friendly owners that will go above and beyond. You will never leave unhappy here. They have exceptional rolls and dinner entrees that are so delicious. My favorite rolls are - 'GM' for fried comfort food, 'firecracker' if you're going for something baked, and 'King Kong' roll for raw sushi lovers. Definitely worth!!!

This the best place I've gotten sushi from in Warren so far. The 007, Adam, Tropical and Volcano rolls are all great. It's carry out only currently, but they are well organized and get the orders out in a timely manner. We will continue to order from them.

They have small portions on some rolls, larger on others but the food is great. Excellent presentation as well when your ordering multiple rolls. However.. the service is poor lately. I go every other weekend and lately the only waitress they have has not been there and I believe it’s the owner who is serving who is quite rude. Last week I was told he was too busy to bring me miso soup or a refill on my water during my hour dinner with a friend. I asked him if I understood correctly that he was too busy to bring me food to which he said yes and walked away. We were the only customers in the restaurant... I decided to give it another shot today. Same story... no waitress but this time he refused to sit me because he was too busy.. again.. place was empty.

Great sushi, rude staff. I was standing in there picking up my to go order listening to who I believe was the owner constantly yelling at his only waitress. The guys behind the sushi bar were laughing at her and obviously taking about her as well. Instead of tipping on my order I walked over to the table who was being served by the waitress and directly handed them cash to give to her instead of tipping the restaurant. I was really bothered by this and definitely will not be giving them my service again. Hopefully that waitress finds herself a new job because she did not deserve to be disrespected like that in front of customers.
Today was my first visit to Hi Sushi.I had 7 different rolls with various contents.The rolls fit within 2 regular styrofoam containers and was barely half filled. Each roll was 6 pieces and barely larger than a nickel in circumference and maybe 3/4 inch in thickness. When they say 5-8 pieces per roll, they mean 6. These pieces are very small and 4 rolls will not fill one person.The fish was fresh and didn't have much of a 'fishy smell' to them. They offered soy sauce as dipping with the sushi, but don't expect spicy mayo or eel sauce. I will not be returning as the value of the sushi is not worth it. I could make 7 rolls of acceptable size for a quarter of the price at home.

I ordered an avocado cucumber roll, miso soup, salmon sashimi, and the Sakura roll (raw salmon and tuna).The salmon sashimi and Sakura roll did not have fresh taste and smelled fishy. This is very alarming when it comes to sushi. The miso was more bland than what I've received at other sushi restaurants, but it still hit the spot. The avocado cucumber roll was the star of my order and was fresh & tasty. This is why I'm giving 2 stars... I understand that there are many supply chain constraints right now - but perhaps do not offer raw sushi options if they cannot be fresh? I called to inform them and they said "sorry." I hope that tomorrow's customers do not receive the same salmon and tuna.

Small storefront place, shows it's age a bit, but don't let that fool you. This place is the real deal! Broad but simple japanese menu, and the best sushi rice I've come across in this area. Fish was astounding in its fresh taste and mouth feel. Lots of take-out business, phone scarely stopped ringing. Plain and simple, a good choice.
