I was in the area and we decided to go there because it was close. AWESOME SURPRISE, we loved the place, the food was delicious, an excellent variety in the menu, and the portions were so abundant. I got a chicken gyro and my daughter a bam bam chicken mac and cheese.

This really is the worst Coney Island I've ever been to. Messed up all orders for my table. Floor was sticky, table was sticky, menus were sticky. Ants were carrying dead flies across windowsill entire visit. Nothing ordered was prepared correctly. Friend ordered a "super taco" they brought out a creation nothing like what the description says and nothing like anything on the menu. Gyro was burned and dry, hash rows were soggy and tasteless. Please don't come here. Only good thing was kids were running it and charged us way less because they make up prices on a cal

I went in here around 3 on a Saturday hoping to get some cheap breakfast. I was greeted by a friendly waitress and me and a buddy ordered. I got steak & eggs side of biscuits and gravy, my buddy got eggs, biscuits gravy. We ordered with a different server and this server came back letting us know that they were out of biscuits. I ordered a super taco and my buddy ordered a gyro & egg platter thing. Yes, there was an ant carrying a dead fly across the windowsill. We got our food and it was pretty dry and not good lmao. The "super taco" was not what I ordered and was prepared without the ingredients listed on the menu. No one was even in this place when we arrived and I had a feeling there was going to be something wrong with this visit. Towards the end I got charged for something I didn't order... and yeah it was just pretty bad haha. First and last time coming here. Sorry y'all get it together, I was in the industry for 3 more years I get it but Nah for real cmon now you guys.

This place is amazing the food is awesome and the people are really friendly and nice I would recommend eating at this place I got the chicken melt it's swiss cheese and grilled chicken on toast that's awesome and the squash a zucchini grilled and everything was cooked perfect.

First time in there waited 15 minutes no waitress came to my table and it was dead in there thats ridiculous, owner needs to hire better servers.

This was an awesome find for us when we visited the eastside. Platos offers a warm and inviting place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. We tried breakfast. There are selections for lunch and dinner also. They played oldies music in the background but you could still carry/hear your own conversations. The staff was very friendly and service prompt. Granted, we went in the early afternoon so we may have missed the meal rush. We plan to return to try other entrees. We ordered the Mediterranean omelette___ kudos to the chef! Nice flavorful balance of egg, moist chicken, onions, spinach, & feta cheese! Delicious! The multigrain toast was delicious! Our other entree was the Platos special. The eggs, hash browns, sausage, and toast were cooked perfectly. They even allowed us to substitute all sausage links in place of the bacon & ham (It comes with bacon, sausage patties/links, and ham)....truly a good deal. They also have an early breakfast special. I can't wait to return and try their pancakes... in addition, it's family friendly.... They offer a small play area for kids and have 4 screens with the sports channel. They have a table set up to play a game of checkers on a large checkerboard. The ladies' room was warm, unlike some places, and it did have a changing table. This place would be great for a quick family meal.

Our family came here on their Edmonson night. We walked into the horrific smell of something badly burnt. They only had one waitress working. The saganaki, an appetizer, was served right before our dinner came out, making it not an appetizer at all but part of our meal. The bang bang chicken was good. The fries were not. The chicken pita sandwich was served as a flat pita with crispy chicken strips, lettuce, and shredded cheese piled on top. Looks nice, but not convenient for eating. There's a strong draft in the southwest corner of the restaurant. We spent just over an hour inside, and the majority of that was spent waiting. All in all, the food isn't worth the prices they charge. Won't be going back anytime soon.
