Service was okay, prices a little high but flavor was good. Out a ways which is nice to get out of the hustle.

Food was good but the brisket on the sandwich could have been chopped smaller. Surprised they don't have ketchup for the fries. Wasn't expecting a hot spicy slaw. The pulled pork was good. Had some good sauces for the meat. We'll be back.

Went here with a couple friends for an early weekday dinner. It was a very pleasant place to talk. My pulled pork sandwich was good, but a little dry and the pieces were a little on the big side for eating without a knife. Prices are very reasonable, but portions are small. We got kind of feeling that outsiders aren't common. Cases in point: 1. When came in there was no greeting when ordering or response when we said we'd never been there before. 2. We found out when our food came that we didn't have drinks or BBQ sauce because we'd never been asked. (Someone else did a good job explaining their sauces, and both were very good.) 3. We came in the front door. Everyone else knew about a back door and several were greeted as they came in.

Always excellent food and customer service. Wish I could make the drive more often.
Whatever the orange butter stuff they put on the mashed potatoes is, it’s amazing! My brisket and pork was very tasty and the Mac and cheese was good as well, my daughter is begging to go back for more MacThe charfait though was the best part and something everyone should try .The service was a little slow but I think maybe they had a lot of to go going on.I felt like the portions were a good size for what I paid (like 13 bucks for two meats and two sides) and I didn’t even finish it as I was full.

Bar none, the best barbecue in West Michigan. Well worth the ride out to Zeeland. I live in Byron Center so it's 10 miles away. You must try it.

Disappointed the smoked chicken was dry and lacking flavor. The portions were extremely small for the price. We had the smoked chicken and brisket tacos(tasted ok but small portions). We will need to eat again when we get home. Edit all 3 of us got upset stomachs shortly after eating here as well.

An old Western Saloon atmosphere in this small bump in the road village brings some big Bbq tastes.I ordered the Char Sampler ($28). This includes a tasting of Ribs, Wings, Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Pulled Chicken. It also included the sides pickles and Pickled Slaw. Everything was very pure tasting. Meaning you could taste the high quality meat in every bite. Everything is seasoned, but lightly. This lets the meat speak for itself. The portion size is generous, which makes this a great value. I also ordered a large side of Pork and Beans ($5), because I love bbq baked beans. I kinda consider myself a connoisseur of Baked Beans. Sadly I found myself not liking them. I didn't hate them, but I didn't finish them. It's possible it's because they are vinegar based, so that may be your thing. I also got myself some Cornbread ($3), which should come with a sampler. That being said it was excellent. Moist and very flavorful. The person I was with ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich ($8) and some cornbread. She loved the sandwich and the cornbread. The only other slightly negative thing is the bbq sauce are only okay at best. I tried the Kansas City sauce and it was acceptable, I used it, but I didn't take any home for my leftovers. The person I was with tried the Carolina Mustard and wasn't a fan.The service is with a smile and tries to be efficient. They need a little work, but it's not by any means bad.Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? Absolutely, it's excellent bbq. If your in the area or are making the rounds of West Michigan bbq this should definitely be a stop.
The owner Len was so friendly and welcoming, an amazing guy. The whole experience was outstanding and we had a great time. Absolutely delicious food! We will definitely be going back!
