For some reason, the two bars next to each other on this block seem to be suffering from an identity crisis. One calls itself a tavern, but it more closely resembles what I would describe as a sports bar. The other call themselves a sports bar, but it definitely has more of a tavern feel.I couldn't get to the bottom of this conundrum. Perhaps you can. Both establmemts are great. I'd suggest you go to both and see what you can solve the riddle.

Very shady with pull tabs bartender pulled box and now lady with bartender counting pull tabs is at shadys hometown playing stacks of hundred dollar bills. When we wanted to play box we were shut down🖕🏿

My mom is from Albany, and my siblings and I took her here as part of our Albany tour. It’s a fun local bar with good strong drinks. it looks like they have live music on certain nights, and also have an outdoor patio and bar. The place was very clean, and the staff was friendly.
