Small little bar that serves cold beer and hamburgers with a bag of potato chips. Friendly staff and limited menu. We stopped for a burger and ordered medium burgers that arrived well done and super dry. The next time we are hungry for a good bar burger, we will not stop at Slims. But we will try another of the top rated burger bars in Bemidji.

Absolutely amazing bar. The staff was super friendly, guy on the grill made fantastic burgers, waitress was super friendly, and it had a great atmosphere. Will stop by again.
We have eaten here for many years and the food and service have been exceptional. Unfortunately today, that was not true. One can of soda was flat, our food took extra long and both burgers came burned on each side. To top it off, the male server ghosted us after delivering our food to the table. We also had to ask for our check at the counter. The chili however, was exceptional.

EVERYONE who works there was polite,smiling, & very efficient & they were extremely busy! Wish I was a local, I would eat & drink here day and night! Unbelievable food & HAVE to try their BBQ sauce, you will want to buy the bottle! We had the award-winning chili and took home with us pulled pork, out of this world delicious! Cannot say enough about this place, I absolutely love it and the people who work there
