My wife and I are staying at the Hilton for 3 days. Tonight is day one so we decided to try out the Garden Grille. There are a lot of people here and there is only 1 server!! I feel bad for the server because she is all by herself and is an elderly person. I can tell she was a little overwhelmed. But in my opinion she could use a little help. On Friday night, August 11th, I got delayed in Bemidji by thunderstorms. I was supposed to land in Minneapolis by 7 and then go to the hotel for a quiet and relaxing evening. Instead, I arrived at 11:30 p.m., totally exhausted and frazzled. I had missed dinner and my husband called the hotel and asked if he could have a pizza delivered for me. Late flight into MSP. Checked into the hotel at 1:15AM. Front desk gal on night shift was great! Room was descent. Got to bed at 2:00AM. Six hours later, I was up and in the shower. Coffee in hand, I was out the door by 9:00AM. Very short stay, but convenient location near the airport. Nice staff, even at check out.
