Stopped to visit the famous Fitger's Brewery in Duluth, MN and noticed there was a Bridgeman's ice cream (started in MN in 1936) store on the site! (Two-for-the-price-of-one historic MN items.) Growing up on this ice cream since the 1950's (when they also served it in full service restaurant locations), it has been hard to find after many brick and mortar stores closed in the 1980's. I personally think that this is an amazing place to stop by during a walk on the lake walk! it has many delicious ice cream Flavors to chose from (I recommend blubbery cheesecake swirl) and the workers are so nice. I would honestly chose Bridge mans over the Malt Shop because most of the items are cheaper and the Quality of ice cream is much better.

We are always on the lookout for really good, homemade ice cream that offers some unique flavors. This is the place in Duluth. Do not leave this city until you have had some ice cream here. We thoroughly enjoyed both the Mackinac Island Fudge, and the Salted Caramel Espresso. Awesome!
