Pho Mai is a great pl ace if you get a yen for Vietnamese food. Wide variety of tasty dishes. Portions were very generous. Dining area has fast food vibe, but that's ok! Prices are reasonable and the service was friendly.
Absolutely delicious! My favorite restaurant at the Asia Mall. Had a wonderful tofu bahn mi and the cream cheese wontons. Both were very tasty and flavorful. My group also tried the chicken stir fry, pork bahn mi, and pho and said they were also very good.

Mandatory 18% tip was added for our family of 5. Although I always tip, it should be optional and based on the service received.
Standard pho shop. I visited Pho Mai with my family of 5. 2A+ 2 kids + 1baby. Food taste was ok. Portions were ok. However, Prices were higher than surrounding restaurants. What annoyed me was the enforced tip.
I don’t like the enforced exuberant mandatory tipping structure. To dine at a simple Pho shop, the customer should have the option to pick their own gratuity offerings. Service during my visit was sub par to say the least since they were busy. There was really no attention to customer needs.

Pho Mai: My Go-To Spot for Authentic Vietnamese in Eden Prairie
When I crave authentic Vietnamese food, my memories always drift back to Garden Grove, California. That area is packed with amazing Vietnamese restaurants and shopping malls filled with food courts where you can try just about everything.
Here in Minnesota, I found a little reminder of that when the Eden Prairie Mall opened. It gave me the same kind of vibe—lots of shops, food, and energy—and quickly became one of my favorite shopping spots.
And tucked right in the mall is one of my favorite finds: Pho Mai. If the name sounds familiar, that’s because it was opened by the son of the owner of MT Noodles in Brooklyn Park. While the menu at Pho Mai is a bit more streamlined, they kept all the essentials—pho, banh mi, and their famous egg rolls.
Now, let me tell you about those egg rolls. They aren’t the typical kind wrapped in pre-made skins. Instead, they’re made with fresh rice paper, which makes them perfectly crisp and totally worth the extra effort it takes to prepare them. They’re seriously labor-intensive, but you can taste the difference.
On my last visit, I went for a bowl of beef and meatball pho—comforting, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. Of course, I couldn’t resist the pork egg rolls too, which were just as tasty as I remembered.
Pho Mai isn’t your typical deli-style pho shop either. It’s always buzzing with energy, full of people, and has this lively, modern vibe. Whether you’re in the middle of a shopping trip or making the drive just for a good meal, it’s worth stopping in.
If you’re in the Twin Cities and craving authentic Vietnamese flavors, Pho Mai is definitely a must-try spot.

Stopped into Pho Mai inside the Asian Mall in Eden Prairie for a quick lunch. I started with their egg rolls, which came out hot, crispy, and good flavor. Also, I went with the small bowl of lean beef pho. The broth was rich and comforting without being too heavy, with a nice balance of savory depth and fresh herbs. The service was quick and friendly, and I liked the casual, no-frills vibe of the place — perfect for when you just want a solid bowl of pho. With the Asian Mall setting, there are a lot of great food options around, if you're craving other food. Cost for lunch was $38 with a 20% tip which seems expensive for lunch. Probs my only grip was the cost based on the small bowl of Pho.

Really enjoyed my lunch here. Pho came out fast and delicious. I hade the sea food pho and spring rolls. Great spot for grabbing some donuts and groceries too. I wish they had some Crab Rangoon. I also have tried the bunmi super yummy as well.

Best Egg Rolls in the cities, better even than Que Viet! Never thought I'd be saying that. My House Bahn Mi and my friend's Pho were excellent as well. Will definitely be back, thank you 🙂
