We love this place. We drove from Maple Grove to Edina for a sandwich cuz they're that good. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Good food, good service, it's worth the drive!

I am basing this review strictly on food, as I believe is practical when rating fast food. I hadn't eaten here in more than twenty years. Truth be told, it tastes exactly as it did last I had it, and that is remarkable. There is just something about this traditionally Italian-style sandwich, The Original, topped with, among other things, olives, tomato, onion, mustard and a garlic sauce, all between a sourdough grilled bun, that works. Ordered the original sandwich, bread was ok, meats & stuff good... but there was so much sauce on it that the bottom bread slice was soaked. Made it real messy to eat, order sauce on the side. A little pricey for a sandwich.
