Nothing special. The steak taco was served warm and the enchiladas tasted off. I expected something better, however the interior looked pleasant. Won't be back.

Live right up the road but hadn't been until stopping by for happy hour. The space itself is a classy, "business casual" vibe. Not that it stopped me from rolling in wearing jeans and a hoodie. It was pretty quiet and the staff was really friendly. Seems like it's much more of a late-night and lunch spot. The happy hour menu is pretty good with a huge serving of excellent guac and chips. It's the good, chunky kind of guac that lets you know you're eating avocado instead of some avocado-flavored mush. Well seasoned and comes with really good chips that hold up to the weight. They have a bunch of tacos as well and the vegetarian option was really good. Lots of filling, fresh tortilla, and I was stuffed afterwards. Didn't get a drink but they have some good specials on those as well. I'll definitely be back at some point!

I love the two taco lunch special. Comes with their homemade chips, salsa, and guac.

We went here for dinner and drinks and left disappointed. When we arrived, we were informed that the kitchen was closing very soon so we would have to order. The website notes that the restaurant is open until 10pm on Thursdays without any call out that the kitchen would close at 8 which was a bummer. Fortunately the menu isn't too extensive so we could select some food. We started off with the trinity margarita which is so delicious and I would give that a 5 star and return for that and the chips. The chips were so tasty and fresh, however the portion was not comparable to the salsa trio we ordered. My fiance ordered the quesadilla and was very disappointed with it. It was quite small and very thin. There was barely any meat in it despite it being a chicken quesadilla and he thought the toppings with salsa, radish, lettuce and jalapeno and whatever else actually made the dish horrible. When he scrapped off the toppings he said it was edible but not great. I ordered the steak taco and the pork belly taco. The steak meat in the taco was good, however the toppings really pulled away from the overall taco and made it taste less good. The first bite of the pulled taco was amazing but when met with the salsa, it overpowered the physical flavor and was just a heat storm with peppers and barely any meat. Neither of us would return for a meal. The only thing we would return for is the trinity margarita and the chips (maybe queso since the quac is noted as not fresh in many reviews).

Drinks are pricey normally, but if you go during happy hour its not bad, and they're very yummy. There are several different margheritas on the menu, and they're all worth trying! The tacos werent my fav but the yucca fries were delicious!

Overpriced and food was not good at all. The chicken quesadilla was very thin and the chicken tasted old. Only good thing was the chips if anything. You can get a better meal at authentic mexican restaurants in the area for lower price.

I wrote a review about a month ago about some really terrible service that we experienced, I got a response from Andy trying to make things right, he asked that I email him and he would get us a round of drinks at our next visit. I emailed him and received no response, basically he wanted to seem sympathetic in the public response but in reality could care less. Never going back

Two words to describe this charming little Mexican restaurant in the middle of Edina: Mind blowing. Kate the bartender took excellent care of our party & between the Trinity margarita and the mouth watering tacos & enchiladas, we got lost in the quaint ambiance. Definitely stop in here for a big bite if you’re in town!

First of all..I love the service here and that is without question some of the best. I'm primarily scoring the food. It's bland, near flavorless etc. for example... the guacamole has not garlic, or salt and pepper or jalapeños. Super basic. This a fantastic location with excellent service... if you worked on the food you would be legend.

Update 08/28/23: my sister got sick from the shrimp tacos and as I saw in another review, it looks like they’ve undercooked shrimp in the past. I would not recommend ordering them.Decided to come here for lunch today as I’ve been here a few times in the past pre-pandemic. I was left a little disappointed with how much some things have changed. My favorite go-to menu item was the tamales; however, not only was the texture like any regular tamal, the flavor was nothing special as I could not taste the sweet corn in the masa at all. Also, I was left searching for a spicy kick throughout the whole meal. Neither my red sauce or my mother's salsa verde had any heat. No one’s dishes had any spice. This was one of my favorite aspects of the food here. A restaurant with actual spicy food. While my mother enjoyed her grilled chicken and my sister liked her shrimp taco, the steak tacos were tough. And I’m unsure what was going on with service/kitchen but all our dishes came out at different times.I used to love coming here but I don’t think I’ll be coming back anymore. All in all, if it’s your first time coming, you’ll enjoy the food as you won’t be comparing it to the Barrio of a few years ago.
