We went for an early dinner before a movie and they had happy hour M-F with drink and food specials. The popovers are fantastic. I had the walleye dinner and my friend had the meatloaf. Both were excellent and nice presentation also. Our waitress was very friendly. We will be back.
I've been coming (getting dragged) here since I was a kid and old ladies were allowed to chain smoke while taking a break from shopping. The food is really good and the service can be so-so depending on the time of day. I highly recommend the popovers and the lunch specials, which are great! If you've never had a popover, order one here--eggy, bready goodness served with pads of butter!

I have been going here since I was in eight grade and it has NEVER disappointed. The food is phenomenal and priced at a discount compared to similar restaurants. Their popovers with honey butter are to die for. It’s such a homey/cozy feel, it’s just unfortunate that they’re so tucked away in the basement of Macy’s. And the service is exceptional. Go here and spread the word! You will not be disappointed!
