We stopped here on Sunday after Mass. We sat at the bar, ordered drinks and our lunch. It’s been a long time since I have ordered quiche. It was really good. The crust was light, the quiche had flavor. I really liked it. I never thought I would like quiche but I do. We love the atmosphere.

Fantastic!! My friend treated me to Birthday dinner. Both of us love this restaurant and I enjoy dining here with my boyfriend as well. We had a fabulous meal. She had the seafood bouillabaisse. I had the tuna niçoise. Both were outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make this a fantastic birthday dining experience.

Hanger steak typically excellent but last night a knife could not get through it and it was overdone. This was served with a huge pile of partially burned pommes frites. Waiter was not great and mostly acted like we were a bother.

Saw several tables that had service issues including ours. Our Steak Frites ordered medium well came rare. Granted when the check came it was complimentary. But nonetheless it ruined the meal for our party of four creating the awkward scenario of three meals eaten while the fourth diner waited for their steak to be corrected. The Beef Bourguignon was tasty but way too many mushrooms relative to the beef. Probably my last visit.

This used to be a 5-star review for us, the seafood bouillabaisse arguably my wife's and my favorite meal in town. Server Jordan is one of the 2-3 best servers we've had in our dining experience, and we loved when we get a seat at one of his tables. However, we've been disappointed as the seafood bouillabaisse has devolved from a $27 dish loaded with scallops, multiple shrimp, crab legs, fish, potatoes, and more... to tonight, a $45 dish with no scallops, one shrimp, and now they even got rid of the potatoes. Throw in the fact we got a different server, who took 25 minutes to bring the check after he cleared our table, and tonight might've been our last trip here. We can get a better seafood stew, for less money, and better service (save for Jordan, who's awesome!) closer to home. Salut!

I love Salut and have gone dozens and dozens of times since it first opened. For the first time ever, on an uncrowded late morning, the food was cold, the quiche looked like it came pre-made out of a freezer; the server was inattentive and unfriendly. Appreciated that the bill was reduced as a result but there was no excuse for this. Come on, you guys! Step it up.

This was one dinner to remember...EVERYTHING about it was perfect - the parking - the food - the atmosphere - the service...I think Salute may be my new favorite Minneapolis (suburban) restaurant!

Very early in the evening they ran out of the staple menu item I wanted. The server was very pleasant but not attentive. We had to ask another server to get us bread. I still enjoy the restaurant but the service can be frustrating.

Service - was SO much better once the first waiter (larger gentleman, loud voice, abrasive personality, opinionated) was excused from serving our table. The second waiter (younger, sweet, polite, attentive -- great curls in his hair) was wonderful! Food: The pizza and arugula salad (without the "dressing" - instead served with olive oil and balsamic) were fine. Luckily one of our friends didn't order the pizza as she can't eat spicy food (and she was going to order it) --- it should be noted that there is a little warmth to the pizza. The fish appeared fine, however neither of our friends really ate much of their fish and didn't speak to it being great... I wish there were more "vegetarian options" -- and those that could be made without onion / garlic (allium family). A great vegetarian burger would be wonderful -- preferably that didn't try to taste like "an animal". Or even a pasta dish -- again without garlic or onion (anything from the allium family). It can be done and be very delicious!!!

We have been to Salut several times before. The food is always delicious. Reasonably priced wines by the glass are available. I had a glass of the house rose along with my Tuna Niçoise salad. Portions are generous so I took some of mine home. My dining partner had an omelette, also delicious. Bread is not included. On a previous visit we ordered a baguette which was delicious and enough for 3 people to share along with our entrees. We look forward to our next visit!

Kevin was super. Our hostess, don't recall her name was great. We felt very welcomed. We will be back. This was a first time and we came for the escargot, which was excellent.
