Your hardest decision when visiting Carol’s will be making your selection because everything is so tempting. Their decorated cookies are favorites with my grandsons and my mouth waters just thinking of their oatmeal raisin cookies which I believe Carol’s husband is responsible for. Hubby and I were traveling through Zelienople on our way to Erie one day. Passing through we noticed the Pastry Shop and decided to stop for a treat. The friendly employee welcomed us into the shop and waited patiently while we made our choices. So many cookies and large pastries of many varieties filled the cases. We weren't expecting a run down, aging bakery when we walked in to pick up some pastries. This place looks like nobody has cared for it in a very long time. Disappointing since it is a main street business. The doughnuts were average, the selection ok for being the end of the day. Probably a good place to order an occasion cake but definitely not a walk-in place.
