I like this place. I live nearby, and so it is easy to stop here. This place has a connection to the former Eden Prairie C R Bay. But not identical menu.I generally like the menu choices and the food, with one exception. The fish sauce (center of all Vietnamese eating) is not great to me. Too sweet, not tart enough, not fishy enough, and not at all spicy. This is a Midwest version of fish sauce that has lost most of the goodness. I have been tempted to bring some from home. The spice range here goes from "not detectable" to "a little warm." Maybe another Midwest adaptation?Oh well, the menu items are good and worth a go. Environment is comfortable. Staff is always very good. If you are a perfectionist, bring your own nuc mam.
Fathers Day dinner was a success here. The service was top tier and the food is fresh and flavorful. We tried almost every appetizer due to the size of our party and we were not disappointed; our favorite was the fried shrimp and egg rolls. Each person in our party ordered a different type of entree and all of us enjoyed our choices. I order the Bun & noodle bowl not knowing what to expect but I'm so glad I did; the dish is light, fresh and full of different flavors! You can tell that the food is prepped fresh daily and there is love and care put into each dish. We will defintely make the drive out here again soon!

The food was fine but needed more seasoning. The shrimp wontons were a hit though. I've never seen them done this way. I would definitely recommend them! Service was not the greatest. Kinda slow and uninformed.
Decided to try this place during the week for lunch. We ordered the yellow curry chicken garlic shrimp fried rice and wontons. All were very good, portions were generous. Service was very good, everyone was polite and helpful. During our visit restaurant was 60 - 70% capacity, noise levels were fairly low, was not able to hear surrounding conversations. Found the interior setting to be cozy, not fancy by any means, which suits us.
Was an absolute delight dinning here! Food was excellent, service was top notch, and the atmosphere was very easy on the ears. I will definitely be back here again sometime soon. You also get great portions that are proportional to the cost of the food. I would highly recommend trying them out sometime if you are in the area.
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff who are willing to accommodate for families.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is on ground level and would be easy to access by wheelchair.
We've done take out there a couple of times. The menu has a bit of a split personality. The Lo Mein noodles are excellent, the Fried Rice is very American. Haven't tried anything else yet. Prices are reasonable for this day and age and its location in downtown Hopkins is very good.
This review is about the pho and only the pho.Meh,Nothing special. For 14 dollars you are given a medium sized bowl half full and the worlds smallest plate of fixings. The meat quality is sub par. The broth is fresh but a bit salty and missing its signature dominance of aromatics. I was the only one sitting down for an early lunch at 5pm on a Tuesday. Should have taken that as advice to not eat here.If you’re craving pho you’re better off going up 169 and hitting Szechuan restaurant for theirs instead. More portion, better pho, for less money.
You gotta try their egg rolls - huge and absolutely delicious. The entrees are also delicious with very generous portions. The staff was super nice and excellent service. Will definitely make this one of my regular Vietnamese places!
First of all I loved the ambiance and vibe. Food was good too. Their iced coffee is great. A great place for a date as well.
Great food...speedy service...the small soup was a huge portion...lasted 2 days. Will go again for sure!

My friends recommended the beef potatoes and goodness it was DELICIOUS! It was very garlicky and the deep fried potatoes were amazing! I also had crispy eggrolls and they were crispy and jumbo. I order orange chicken and while it was crispy and good I expected a more sweet flavor but it was more savory.Service was excellent! ❤️Parking on the street and there is a lot in the back.Overall a great experience!
First time here, I had lunch & Pho #4, friend had honey walnut shrimp. Both very good, the Pho was excellent choice for cold MN winter day. Service was great, met one of the owners. I will definitely be back.
After several visits to this specific location, I'd say this restaurant is consistent with their quality of food/service. A few items I'd like to highlight about today's visit:- Food (Sautéed Beef and Potatoes + Spring Rolls): 3/5. Rolls tasted fresh and did not need to drown in peanut sauce for flavor. Beef and potatoes were the complete opposite. Good flavor, but the plate was drenched in sauce. Overpowered both the meat and potatoes. Also had inconsistencies with the potatoes in terms of texture.- Service: 3/5. Our main server did not appear much after taking our order, and instead the hostess was coming by to check in on us. I would consider this good teamwork, but it was not busy enough to need anyone to step in.- Atmosphere: 3/5. At the time of our visit, the place was mainly empty, and there are center lights above the tables (unfortunately, the light above our table was covered in a dust as well). While this was great for showcasing the food when it arrived at the table, it really emphasized how dark the inside of the restaurant was as a whole.
Fabulous service, atmosphere (I liked the look of the fireplace, it was cold out), delectable food. Reasonable price. Highly recommend the P4 Pho, egg roll, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Go eat, you'll be glad you went to be Cam Rahn.
Very eratic. We dined here on Saturday and ordered Lemongrass chicken , egg rolls and Beef and potatoes and everything was delicious. We came back Thursday and placed the same order only the egg rolls were the same. The beef and potatoes looked like beef stew. THe potatoes were not crispy. the same waitress said she did not know she had never had them and came back after asking the cook and we were told it was the way the potatoes came today. The lemongrass chicken came in a dark sauce mostly hoisen that totally overpowered the lemongrass.
