One on One absolutely rocks. Old school bike loving mentality from people that are super cool and super knowledgeable. Every interaction I've ever had with them has been great. They don't try to hard sell anything, they're very honest about what work needs to be done. They're very communicative. They really just want you to love riding your bike. I've been to and worked at plenty of shops and One on One is top notch.

Favorite bike shop after visiting a few in Minneapolis. Owner is extremely knowledgeable about mountain bikes, great selection in stock. Even if they don’t have brand you want pays to stop in and check them out. Very unique building and beautiful grounds.

This place is the best. Gene and Jennifer (and their kids) live in the neighborhood and care so much about making sure that all of their customers have a good experience. We bought a very cheap bike from them for our young daughter, and they still put so much time and care into fitting it correctly and making sure that my kiddo walked away feeling like a rock star. It motivated her to want to learn to ride without training wheels.

Huge thanks to OOOBS for setting me up with a new frame. They communicated with the manufacturer for a replacement and I was able to get back riding with their help. Huge shout out to the mechanic who answered all of my many questions and swapped all the parts. Just getting the bike dialed in and have had a blast on it so far!

The staff at One on One were very friendly and helpful for my recent bike rental. They provided me with the bike, a helmet, a lock, and a personalized map. Great store, highly recommend.

I've spent a small fortune at OOOBS over the past decade and have to say that this is the greatest little shop on the face of the planet.

I just bought a Specialized S3 from this shop. My first time here I was greeted with a friendly smile with no pressure to purchase right away. They listened to my wants and needs and directed me to the Specialized S3. A week later my bike arrived and was assembled within a day. The customer service here is a great change from all of the other stores I went to trying to find my perfect bike. I highly recommend coming here for a bike and or bike repairs. Thank you guys so much for your service!

My cousin from CA came in to ride the 100 mile Tour de Tonka on 8/5. For this, he arranged to borrow a high end Bianchi road bike, owned by one of the staff, who customized it with my cousin's seat post and pedals. He does Pike's Peak, Death Rides and other western adventures. We returned the bike yesterday, and I, as an observer, was very impressed by the friendly, knowledgeable, and customer focused staff. The touring bike was effectively produced as a one-off service to my cousin. This studio bristles with mountain bikes, and this is clearly their focus for sales. Bianchis, Surly, and some Canadian makers were on the bikes I saw. From my cousin's experience, I would infer that matching the customer with their right bike and fitting it right would be paramount. The inventory is very different from traditional retail bike stores dominated by the Chinese or Korean manufactured brands. If you are a serious mountain biker, this is your studio.

I purchased a Yeti at One on One last week, and from my first phone call, the experience working with Gene and the One on One team has been fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable group, and they take the time to work with each customer to ensure proper fit and component selection without exceeding budget. Would highly recommend One on One to anyone looking for a high end mountain bike and component dealer in the Twin Cities.

I used to go this place when it was downtown. Was looking for this place and I found the new location so I'll be going soon!I just want say: this is the least pretentious bike shop I've ever been to. Brought in my cheap Schwinn and they weren't judgemental and treated me like any other customer. (Which is rare for a bike shop). This place is truly a gem and they actually care about helping all people no matter what your income is and I appreciate that.

Best LBS in the metro. Killer service and ace mechanics. I drive or ride past more than a couple other shops to get to OOBS and it's always worth it.

First-time customer. Incredible shop and expertise. Service Department (Avery) went beyond the extra mile. I’ll be making this my go-to shop moving forward—even with the distance needed to travel for me. Thanks One on One!
