Rojo used to be one of my favorite restaurants when I worked closer to West End & decided to have dinner here since I was already downtown. The menu & tacos have changed quite a bit since I last ate here and perhaps it was this location but the carne asada tacos were slightly salty & not as juicy as usual. I was in Minneapolis to support my team. I said I would treat myself to the home opener, check out the awesome stadium and celebrate being a fan for 25 years! SKOL! I came here for dinner. It was a mistake. I ordered the mexican meatloaf with rice and beans. I did not like my food at all. My meatloaf had a weird sweet taste to it. So did the rice. Just did not sit well with me. I was expecting a lot more out of this place, but unfortunately they did not live up to my exceptions. Sat down for lunch at 11:30, they got our drink orders in right away followed by food (probably around 11:40), but we didn't receive our food till 12:30 - I just don't believe tacos should take 50 minutes.
