This was my first time at The Armory. It’s definitely more roomy and classy compared to First Avenue. First Avenue is great too but The Armory definitely makes you feel like you’re going to an epic concert. I’ve been to concerts at the bigger Exel, US Bank Vikings, Target Center stadiums but this venue had a cozier feel. Saw Cigarettes After Sex - sold out concert. Will be looking forward to seeing more concerts at The Armory.
It really is a wonderful venue to see your favorite bands/artists up close in a lively, intimate setting. The balcony offers a great, more relaxed view. While the general admission floor can provide you with the opportunity to get up close and personal with the performers and the fans, if you want to dance, mosh, and scream lyrics in a crowd.
