This photo may look like an incredibly basic breakfast…and, well, it is! This is my go-to meal when it comes to breakfast or brunch: the old “standard” or “classic” breakfast. But, even though it’s basic, it’s surprisingly easy to mess up. Fortunately, The Lynhall’s version is both delicious and well executed in all the right ways. Two eggs over easy, perfectly cooked and still hot when they arrived at our table. Lightly toasted sourdough bread. Crispy, generously seasoned potatoes (soggy or overly greasy potatoes can be a real bummer). And, Impossible Breakfast sausage, which was a pleasant surprise. I don’t eat meat very often anymore and for some reason it’s challenging to find alternative meat options at our local breakfast joints. The Lynhall has a wide range of creative menu items (rye crepes to falafel to tea brined turkey), but the “Lynhall Standard” is perfect for me. Oh, and the interior decor is anything but standard. Be sure to check it out for yourself. And while you wait for your breakfast, don’t be shy about exploring the bakery case. (Shown in the video is a delectable blueberry muffin.)

Was really glad to get here for brunch before they transitioned to an event space. This was definitely one of the better brunch locations in the Twin Cities. Great airy, naturally lit dining space, with local art, poetry, and letters on the walls. For our final brunch here, we enjoyed the Lemon Lavender Lattes, one of each of the pastries (shared amongst a table of four), Breakfast Gnocchi and Eggs Benny. Everything was outstanding, the Breakfast Gnocchi was a standout dish, so unique and so full of flavor.Glad that there is still an Edina location; it will be interesting to see how things evolve for the Mpls event space in the years to come.

Went here for brunch date and got the brunch bundle which is a great deal. My boyfriend had the Lynhall standard, he said he really liked the scramble eggs but lamb sausage was too salty. I got classic eggs benny, which was okay to my taste. But I really like their pastries, I got the raspberry bear claw which was almost sold out by the time we were there. Nice space and atmosphere!

WOAAH! I think I took my best picture yet!? and how could I not... EVERYTHING about this place to top notch! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an immediate sense of elegance and fine dining. Perfect for an upscale brunch - honestly I felt like I should be drinking tea.A lot of times with places like this, you think the atmosphere is the attraction in its self... but think again! The food more than held its own. A concise menu with enough variety and phenomenal flavors. The benedict far exceeded anything I could have expected. From top to bottom, everything about this place is inviting. Expect to spend a little bit, but it's certainly worth it! Stop reading and get eating!

Initially, I had already decided against doing any review. Since Open Table emailed me the following day seeking my review, here it is: This was my 1st experience ever with this establishment. When I arrived per reservation, awkwardly I stood unacknowledged (even ignored by nearby servers who glanced over at me but chose to ignore me rather than go alert the missing host who should have greeted & sat me. Awkward 1st impression, indeed. Eventually, I when I tired of standing there unacknowledged, I walked over to the bartender for help & she kindly sat me. Unfortunately, the service was without redemption. As will be explained below, I ended up with 2 different servers, neither of whom bothered to greet me upon their arrival tableside. Not even did they offer me their name. I ordered a brunch bundle. The breakfast was tasty. Later, a different person arrived at my table to clear away my breakfast plate, warm my coffee & offered to bring my bill. With surprise, I explained that my bill will reflect a bundle & I had yet to discuss & receive the next course. I asked where is my server. That person then announced they were now my server as my initial server had to leave, exclaimed that they were unaware of my next course m and, defensively said they were "only trying to help me." What struck me as odd was up until the above referenced exchange, no one had bothered as a courtesy to inform me of a change in servers. Nor did the 2nd server bother to greet me & introduce themself. In other words the following should have been done but was not: "Hello, I'm so & so, I will be taking over as your server, can I offer you a dessert (OR YOUR NEXT COURSE)?" Nada ... Even if a host is unavailable, a kind acknowledgment that you are seen can go a long way to overcome misteps. Also, it is crucial that servers be taught the fundamentals (basics) of service. Last, either the servers or mgmt & 2nd server should have touched base about on where 1st server left off.

Wow, wow, wow! The Lynhall exceeded all my expectations and left me absolutely amazed. However, there were two dishes that truly stood out and made this culinary journey unforgettable--the breakfast gnocchi and sourdough pancakes. Let me tell you, these creations elevated my taste buds to a whole new level, making it the most exceptional dining experience of my entire life. The breakfast gnocchi was a revelation. The delicate pillows of potato goodness melted in my mouth, accompanied by a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The chef's skillful execution of this dish showcased a profound understanding of flavor combinations and textures. Every bite was a harmonious blend of richness, tenderness, and savory notes that left me yearning for more. Now, let's talk about the sourdough pancakes. They were nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The pancakes were delightfully fluffy with a subtle tanginess imparted by the sourdough, which added a unique twist to the traditional pancake experience. Topped with a perfect balanced drizzle of syrup and rhubarb, each bite was a heavenly symphony of sweet, tart, and comforting flavors. These pancakes were an absolute revelation and showcased the chef's ingenuity and expertise. After experiencing these culinary delights, it's evident that the chef responsible for creating these remarkable recipes deserves recognition on a grand scale. Their talent and creativity should be acknowledged by Michelin stars, as they have truly crafted dishes that transcend the boundaries of traditional cuisine. I have no doubt that this chef has the potential to become a household name in the culinary world, and I eagerly anticipate their rise to fame.

Great beautiful location and wonderful service. They open right on time and we got there first. Have cute merchandise by the door when you walk in. The food was tasty and the portions were large.

We had brunch at the Mple 2640 Lyndale location. Hadn't been there since pre pandemic. The type of service had changed from waiting in line to full service.Yay! Food and wait staff were great. Will go back again!

Isabella made our experience better than 90% of the restaurants I've been too. I wish I took a picture but she drew a cute duckie on my receipt which made me smile because she took the time to do so even tho it was busy. Altogether a great experience in a great atmosphere!

Perfect place for my mom's birthday brunch. Service was great - people were hospitable and friendly and the vibes were great as always! And then food was of course freaking delish.

Good food but too noisy for a get together as we had to talk louder than usual. Not a Place to meet up for chatting. Food and service was excellent. Not too happy with the tip System either. We were charged for some tax and we were made To tip on top of that

I love the food at Lynhall and have been many times, but this experience was not up to their standards. They were completely out of pastries, which is half the reason we go for brunch. Also, our service was incredibly slow. The waitress was super nice, and perhaps staffing is an issue, but we were constantly out of water/drinks and were never asked how our food was after it was served. The next time we saw her, she brought the bill. Just not what you expect from a relatively pricey brunch experience.
