I'm not vegan yet this place makes the best broccoli cheddar soup I've ever had in my life. The young woman who works here is super nice. There's a cute patio in the back. I wish they were open more days of the week!

The hours here are weird, they're for stay at home parents or college kids only. I drive by here on my way to and from work most days and always think maybe I'll try something today? But no, they will always be closed. Overpriced anyways.

Randomly stopped by and got a Fall Spice cupcake. I am a vegetarian, but not a vegan, and honestly didn't have super high expectations for a vegan cupcake. I was pleasantly surprised - it was delicious and I highly recommend their cupcakes.

Finally stopped into Vegan East in our neighborhood! Nice little spot with the easiest access out of all 3 locations. Cute and clean and very fresh muffins when we stopped in on a Saturday morning before Art-a-Whirl. The staff member was very sweet and helpful. We got two muffins and some cupcakes as well as an iced coffee which was so-so, the baked goods are always stellar and it was the first time I had a muffin from them - superb! Very fresh, soft and big!

So happy to have another place in NE that does vegan and has GF options. The desserts are amazing and sloppy joes with a cup of soup make my day. Now that it's warm the back patio is open and always playing good music.

We got a vegan salted caramel buttercream with vanilla cake and a vegan chocolate gluten free cake with strawberry buttercream. I will tell you something, I don't normally enjoy cake very much. But these cakes and flavors were game changers. Somehow they are not as overly sweet as most buttercreams, and the salted caramel was a lovely caramel flavor that was also pretty salty (just a heads up for those who prefer sweeter cake, the salt level may surprise you with that one) Vegans and non vegans, gluten free and gluten-full eaters alike loved all the cakes. Expensive? Sure. You can definitely get a sheet cake at Cub or Hyvee for half the price. But half the flavor also. Plus these are *specialty* cakes. Vegan and gluten free ingredients still cost a pretty penny more than regular stuff, despite the rising popularity. If you need a fail-proof, guaranteed success dessert for any occasion and want to be the thoughtful person that makes treats accessible for the vegan or gluten-free guests, Vegan East is a MUST!!

Stopped in for the first time and there was so much to choose from, including gluten free options. I ended up choosing the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake, homemade pop tart, and s'mores bar. They were all incredibly tasty. I think my personal favorite was the s'mores bar, which I highly recommend for chocolate fans.
Have been wanting to check this place out and happened to walk by when they were open! Make sure to check hours as they aren’t open too often (which is good for my budget!). I was recommended to try the chocolate peanut butter bar and man oh man if you like peanut butter and chocolate then you absolutely have to try this. I’m not vegan but it was so good. Definitely want to come back for some iced coffee and one of the sandwiches or soups and other treats!

Stopped in for some treats on my daughter's birthday. They were delicious and the person working threw in a pumpkin loaf for her. Super nice! My daughter said she thought the guy seemed really nice even before he gave her the extra treat. Great service and excellent baked goods!
