Stopped in for supper on the way home, and were pleasantly surprised after hearing some less-than-stellar word of mouth reviews. The atmosphere was nice, with lots of exposed natural-look wood and a homey feel to the bar (kind of a cabin-y look, which I personally enjoy.). The staff were friendly and attentive, and we got our food quickly. Someone at the next table tried the burger challenge, which looked pretty impressive all stacked up (they did not finish, unsurprisingly.)We got a couple of burgers - one mushroom & swiss and one bacon burger. Food was cooked perfectly and very tasty; definitely one of the better burgers I have had in this area. My partner had the cheese curds and they were cooked just right - definitely some of the best we've tried. Portion sizes were very fair for the price. We didn't have any drinks, but the tap selection looked very thorough.I understand Bites is under new management since our visit, and I hope they continue to be successful. We will definitely remember this place on our future travels.

Great food, everything was great! Even with my friend delivering it 20 minutes away. Club, curds, frys, and cheese cake were all made well! I have been a cook 12 years and bites almost never disappoints. if they do they will usually fit it.

Our steaks were not only tough but also mostly fat. We were there not only for Valentines Day but mainly for our 34th anniversary. The $75.00 we spent was not worth it at all!

Well my girlfriend and I were searching for a spot on Friday during lent, and many places had a meat raffle and we're too busy for me then. Anyhow she had walleye bites that looked hand cut with a fantastic batter maybe a beer batter. The special was a salmon I got it blackened, i couldn't be more impressed with the quality, the preparation, and the great staff! It's a gold buzzer for me!!!

The prime rib (10 oz) was perfectly delicious. Fettuccine Alfredo was yum, even my leftovers the next day were awesome. Philly sandwich and burgers are also delicious. This place has the best mushroom soup.

Was there for a fire safety information program. I had the north shore walleye. The walleye was good, but, when she said American fries, I didn't realize it would be mostly peppers. I don't care for peppers! Disappointing!!So I had 1 piece of fish... not very filling! Left hungry.
