They could have more selections of buffet items and the lighting in there is a bit dark but overall good staff and food!!

I believe the food here is Great! The customers felt like a city of people I really could coexist with. The tea was good. I had quite a bit of food it seemed not as hot as it could been but the flavor was right there. I trust lakes buffet

Very good food. The buffet was great. Don't go at 11:00 am when they open. Wait about 30 minutes or more so they have time to get the buffet set up.

Haven't had Chinese buffet since covid started and mom said this place has really good social distancing and covid health guidelines so decided to give it another try. Upon entering they have hand sanitizer at the register. They give everyone one glove to use for the hand that is scooping up food/touching anything that's community use. Mask and gloves are both required when walking away from the table and getting food. They have markings on the floor but nobody really followed it. They were sitting people every other booth but for the long table they did not do every other table so you're literally sitting back to back, which is not a lot of social distancing. They did cut down maybe 1/3 of the variety of food now versus prior to covid so not a lot of options, which was quiet disappointing given that the price is the same or slightly higher than I remembered. Paying more for less food at the same place is never a good thing. For some of the food trays they have plastic covering which is good. The food weren't as hot when I got them probably because they don't replenish it as much since it was not busy when I got there. I think they need to add in more options to get their customers back. Sushi- I got a piece from the unagi and tempura roll. CHOKING HAZARD! I almost choked on the bone from the Unagi! You wouldn't think of finding bones in a sushi roll right? I pretty much threw that up right away. Please make sure your fish is boneless before rolling it up in a sushi. Honestly, probably won't be returning to this place until after covid when they have the full buffet bar back again. The only thing that stand out today was the service in that the waitress came to clean our plates pretty fast. The 2 stars goes to the service only.

I didn't realize this was Chinese Buffet after it taking over Old Country Buffet it has a huge selection of food.
Great selection of food. Love how they're able to safely stay open during the pandemic. Would love to see a soft serve ? machine there.

The foods used to be very very good. However, the quality of the buffet has been slowly eroding since COVID starts. These are less options, less quality sushi, less dessert for dinner buffet. That does not justify the $15.99 all day buffet on Sunday. It’s sad to see one of my buffet place went down...

We have ordered a crawfish tray. What we get is a tray with lots of water. and not much crawfish. We have eaten here since it opened. and the food is delicious. but recently. The quality has been reduced. The food was not as good as it used to be and the seller cheated and sold it not as we had ever eaten. never come back

Before going there I call to see they were dining in. The person on the phone said that they were offering dine in. Got there with my little family person behind the counter stated that we need mask ?? I mean really we have to ware a mask every time we go up to get food only time we're aloud to keep the mask off is when we'er sitting down to eat. ??

I liked the crab alot. I mean the food was great so I couldn't complain and the eggrolls were crunchy, not soggy. ✊ Desert selection wasn't too much but the variety of meats and veggies made up for it. Great Price. ?10.95 or so? No Koi but affordable and good food. ?
