We are in town for the Big 10 tournament and happened upon this restaurant which is close to our hotel. We ordered much more than two people ever should. Everything was amazing!!

Great location for a sushi restaurant. The atmosphere wasn’t bad and the food was pretty good. The only problem was waiting for our food to come out. The server only handed our table of 5 with one happy hour menu so it took us a while to decide what we wanted on that and the regular menu. But the over all experience wasn’t bad.

Will no longer going to this place. Ordered through their store and had a wrong order delivered to me after waiting an hour and half for it. Drove to the store to pick up my food only to be told it would be another 35 minutes to make my food while the restaurant was DEAD inside. Ridiculous.

Went to Raku this weekend, after at least 4 years since my last visit, and I have to say their food is still pretty great! Actually it is better than what I remember! The sashimi was phenomenal! It was very fresh, and creamy!!! By far the best I have had recently! The fried eggplant with spicy tuna was an amazing appetizer! The udon and crispy beef were very good too although the beef was a little in the sweeter side! The chilled sake was good as well! All in all it was a very nice dining experience!

This is hands-down the best bar in the West End. A hidden gem. Always accessible and a mini “Cheers” type of place. Very cozy and welcoming. Everyone knows the bartenders names. The sushi, the fried rice, and apps are very good and the drinks are custom to your preference. Check it out. But don’t tell too many people. :)

Tuesday night- we were the only people there, at 6pm. Empty restaurant. Food- sadly very dissatisfied- Calamari greasy, sesame chicken drenched in a dark sauce - unable to eat. We had been here a few years back, was great. Sadly, not today.

I guess you don't really get what you order off the menu...because they said it was a mis-print! Terrible experience in a mostly empty restaurant on a Tuesday night before a movie. We ordered Salt and Pepper Calamari and were served a cold greasy pile of bland calamari. When asked to bring it back, they put it back in the deep fryer to get more greasy....and with no salt and pepper even though they charged us the $15. They said the other location was worse...can you believe that! Miso soup was good, but the sushi roll was sub par, and sesame shrimp was way overkill on the thick sauce to the point you couldn't taste the shrimp. Sign of a restaurant on it's last legs and won't go again.

I ordered lobster bisque soup and didn't see not one liquid lobster in it. Kind of sad since it's a sushi place. I even saw the guy look at the soup before he gave it to me and talk in another language to the lady next to him and still gave it to me so I know they noticed it just like I did before I even took off the lid by looking at the bottom just like he did so he knew there was nothing in there and still .....

Food as always was fantastic. I gave less stars for the service and the atmosphere. Neither of which were actually the bar tenders fault. it was the customer's that we're sitting near us. undoubtedly the staff could not fix that problem. however them being as obnoxious as they where did hold up our service slightly. if I could give 4 Stars explaining and then give 5 Stars for still being stand up people I would.

Raku is underrated. Great menu that is well executed. My current favorites are the Sumo and One Rolls. Fish is fresh so go for Nigri and Sashimi too.

Absolutely fabulous. ive gone here three times in one month because i can not get enough of their sushi. Service is absolutely amazing. The waiters and hosts are always so courteous and friendly. The whole restaurant has a very zen feeling and you feel relaxed right when you walk in.

Food was This was some seriously good sushi and appetizers for the price. The sunk in tables with lit up floors were really cool but the family didn't want to do them with me (lame!). Will definitely be coming back here the next time I'm coming through MN.
