tried some of their ‘boo thee kyaw’ or fried gourd for the first time. and along with some other things from their deli as well such as the fried opo squash, fried chicken and samosa. well priced & affordable. the fried gourd was amazing so the next morning i ordered catering about 30 fried boo thee kyaw to share at a birthday party. i loved that the food was made on time and plus an additional half quart of their special peanut hot fish sauce for the fried gourd. everybody...read full review

A totally underrated spot that I stumbled upon by happenstance. Besides groceries, you can find a restaurant in the back (I think it’s called Irrawaddy? Which has its own google page) that sells Burmese snacks (ie., htoe hmote is a sesame seed based rice cake; they also sell banana desserts cooked in coconut milk) and an array of breakfast items like Mok Nor-Mai (bamboo shoots steamed in banana leaves, which lends the bamboo a subtly sweet aroma).
