Hands down the absolute best pizza in all of Minneapolis. So similar to New York city’s pizza. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this place! Amazing, you need to try!

Pizza tasted decent. I don’t know why but my pizza looked like a square cut up into 8 slices: I had to wait in there for 30 min for 2 pizzas and it was pretty hot, I really liked the furniture though.

Luigi’s has their sausage locally made with their own recipe; there isn’t another sausage & pepperoni pizza like this in town.

The classic margherita is a solid take. San Marzano tomato sauce is the star, crispy but still chewy crust.

Just had this for the first time, and it was DELICIOUS! The sauce is very flavorful and the crust is the perfect thickness and chewiness. This is my new go-to neighborhood joint!!

Absolutely terrible . I came in on Saturday in the evening after calling 20 times with no answer .The staff member that greeted me was very rude & barely knew how to take my order. It was 90 degrees in the store as well which made the 30 minute wait ALL THE MORE UNCOMFORTABLE . The prosciutto tasted old/stale , the arugula was limp and the pizza barely had enough toppings on it . Do not recommend !!! absolute TRASH.

Ordered two pizzas and a Ceasar salad. The pizzas were very salty and had very few toppings. We had ordered basil on one and there was a small leaf every other slice. The other pizza was Artichoke and roasted red peppers, again there was barely any toppings. Half an Artichoke every other slice and could not find the roated red peppers. The salad was definitely not a ceaser salad, iceberg lettuce and too many cherry tomatoes. Will not order again.

I've now ordered from Luigi's a half dozen times so I feel like I can give a good overall review at this point. The toppings here are the real winners, quality meats (especially the sausage, which I usually do not like on pizza) and good options. I also appreciate the ease of ordering and how reliably quick they are. But the crusts are now always soggy! This has gotten progressively more noticeable over the past few months of ordering, and I'm not sure why (maybe the center part is too thin or the pizza needs more time). I wish they'd either cook the pizzas more or give you an option when ordered to cook it well done. Salads are good and fresh, and they offer delivery for $5, but I'm struggling with wanting to make this our weekly place when the middle of the pizza is too wet to be enjoyable.

Best pizza & calzone since I moved from Chicago!!! Delivery driver made our pies himself!

Pizza wasn't cooked all the way through. Unedible. Ordered a Caesar salad and I got Italian dressing. Simple things.

Luigi's Best is one of few pizza joints in the Twin Cities that uses Follow Your Heart vegan cheese (most other places use Violife or make their own cashew cheese). I got a 16" with a couple toppings and vegan cheese ($25.50) and enjoyed it. Follow Your Heart has a creamy texture and fatty flavor that is reminiscent of dairy cheese. The crust was light and airy and well done (this is about as close to thin New York pizza as you'll get in the Twin Cities, which tends to favor Neapolitan or tavern crusts over other styles). I also got a 12" without cheese ($15) and liked that, too. Note: their pistachio pesto is NOT vegan (it has cheese in it). If Luigi's Best offered more vegan options (how about vegan pepperoni or sausage? Or a cashew cheese? Or vegan cheesecake from nearby Muddy Paws?), it might warrant another star. For the suburbs, Luigi's is pretty good. If you're looking for similar pizza with vegan cheese in Minneapolis or St. Paul proper, check out Fire & Nice Alehouse (Minneapolis) or Big River Pizza (St. Paul).

I never write reviews, but I want to offset some of the crazy people leaving 1 and 2 stars.I moved here from the east coast, and I was so disappointed with the casual pizza options. People would tell me a place was amazing, and it would be the most mediocre pizza I had ever had.Until I found Luigi's best. This pizza lives up to all of my expectations. The perfect amount of sauce, which is light and not overpowering. Great ingredients. Lots of gooey cheese. Chewy, thin crust. Everything is just perfectly balanced. I look forward to the times I get to eat it and my only disappointment is with their operating hours.Everyone we have introduced to this pizza (and we've introduced it to a lot of people) are equally in love.I will say I prefer the 14 and 16 inch over the 12, but that's simply personal preference.

Fairly mediocre pizza, especially for the price, which was surprising given the reviews I read. I ordered a 14" ham & pineapple and a 12" of their special pistachio, pesto, and red peppers. While the ingredients were good and the pizza arrived in a timely manner, the pizza wasn't any better than any of the cheap franchise pizza places. On both pizzas the crust was very limp and flavorless (it reminded me of those rectangles of pizza we'd get in elementary school) and the toppings were incredibly skimpy, and there was a ton of grease that I had to dab off to make it actually edible. There was one, sometimes two pieces of pineapple for each slice of the first pizza, and maybe about five incredibly thin slivers of peppers on the second. Neither of the pizzas tasted BAD, and I really liked the flavor combos of the pistachio pizza, but definitely won't be coming here again, especially with so many other local options that are MILES better.

Superb pizza, best i have had in a very long time. Friendly staff. Mostly a carryout place but a nice cozy very small dining in area. Prepare to wait, but it will be worth it. One quibble - no fountain drinks and the bottled sodas are too expensive.

Luigi’s Best delivered ten 16” pizzas and and amazing 12” gluten-free specialty pizza to our team event at the ROC in St. Louis Park. The pizzas were excellent (not one slice left over)! The service and delivery were spot on. I highly recommend Luigi’s Best and will be back.
