Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

My husband works two jobs, I work two full-time jobs while completing my doctoral degree, and our time is limited. I say that because when we choose to spend our hard-earned money at an establishment, the very least we expect is cleanliness, respect, and accuracy. Unfortunately, the Popeyes on Business Loop continues to fall short in every possible way, and last Friday was the tipping point. This location has been consistently filthy. Every visit feels worse than the last. The floors, counters, and tables are routinely dirty, and the restroom is so unsanitary that one can only hope to leave without feeling exposed to something harmful. Dining in is never an option because the environment is visibly neglected and deeply unwelcoming. Despite my hesitation, I agreed to stop in and placed a phone order for the 16-piece bundle—over fifty dollars after tax. I spoke with Victor, and because of the cost, I specifically requested fresh chicken. To my surprise, the chicken was coming straight out of the fryer when I arrived, and for a moment, I was impressed. That moment did not last long. When I arrived home and began packing my husband’s lunch, I realized the red beans and rice were missing. I immediately called back and asked for Victor, expecting a simple apology and a resolution. Instead, I was met with accusations and condescension. He insisted that I bring the bag back so he could “investigate” and explained that customers often lie. I asked him to review the camera footage since I had nothing to hide. His response was dismissive and unsettling—he told me to call back in an hour. The entire interaction left me feeling as though I were the problem, when in reality his team failed to properly pack the order. No paying customer should be treated as though they are under suspicion for simply wanting what they purchased. To the owner: This is not just a complaint—it is a call for immediate action. Your establishment is deteriorating in cleanliness, professionalism, and customer care. I urge you to contact me directly, because this experience was unacceptable on every level. For others considering this location: avoid it at all costs.

The food is usually good at this Popeyes on Hyde park. Tonight was not the occasion. We had missing items and had to return. I asked for white meat and received dark meat and the chicken tastes old and hard. Fries were old and cold. They were very slow, only 1 car ahead of us and 1 behind and no diners inside. They had 5-6 workers as well, so need to be slow for cold and old food. We ordered a fish sandwich as well with pickles not cucumbers. The staff lacks customer service skills as well. Hopefully you guys will get it together and train and supervisor your staff better.

I was jus an in there and I watched a guy pay for his food they made it wrong he even came back to the store and requested a full refund... He did purchase extra food and told them he didn't want the receipt he paid with cash and got two extra items .. We sat in the lobby my husband and I and watched this happen, they told him they couldn't give him a refund for the extra items even though they both employees who said his name was Victor. The guy asked his name also...he had brought all the food back and untouched ... The staff was very rude to him ... A Caucasian women a guy heavy set with glasses who gave him the first refund and the manager who was very rude in identifying his self... After that we got up and walked out... That's no way to treat people who spend they hard earned money with a company. I'm a manager at McDonald's jus next door . They were very rude to that man... I brought him to my store and gave him his food for free because we watched what he went through. We will not be eating or coming to this location again. We are definitely going to be telling people about the rude staff and wrong doing to a customer. Cause if he wanted to hurt them he could have he had a car full of people with him... He even told them not to come in the store .. We watched him grab a guy and stop him from coming in there to do something to the staff. Popeyes you can't treat people like that . ITS JUST WRONG. AND YOU ALL SHOULD HAVE GIVEN THE GUY A FULL REFUND. ITS NIT HIS FAULT YOU GUYS MESSED UO HIS ORDER. He should get what he pays for... WE WILL NEVER XOME HERE AGAIN.

Worst palce ever brought my food back twice and paid cash Victor said he's the boss said I could let her a refund because it wasn't in the computer bs.. Worst place ever... Staff is horrible also... Can't read the screen and can't count money... Very poor place of business... I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great food, recently it’s been so good, maybe new management..idk but what ever it is it’s good hot and fresh, not over cooked. Also service is great.

They've got the hot crispy chicken recipe down! The service was good. Sauces and sides were fair. Would've loved to have been able to watch the game while we were there but the tvs are not functional. ☹️

High priced for fast food. Fries were cold and cost $40 to feed 2 adults and 2 kids. No line in the drive thru so food was fast, but not as fresh as it could be.

Raw chicken & cold dead fries...great customer service at store level. When I wrote in to complain, they gave such a line of GARBAGE! I got the email two days after I complained. They wanted pictures of the food and the receipt as well. First off, I don't keep food like that, I don't think anyone does and I can't give you something the restaurant didn't give me, a receipt! Absolute WORST Corporate Customer Service I have ever gotten anywhere.
