Server was fantastic. Fantastic service and worth the stop. Wonderful atmosphere with good food portions and pricing. Great menu selection just no fried okra but we loved the other menu options. Food was served hot and was delicious it also came out fast. Great variety of barbecue sauce.

I hate to leave a negative review for somewhere with such delicious food. But unfortunately, our experience isn't based on the food in this case.We visited Mo Hick around 7:00ish on 3/7/24, had a wonderful dinner. Our food was great, our waitress was friendly and helpful. After dinner we were trying to get out of their hair so they could get cleaned up and get ready for closing. On our way out, we noticed that the exterior lights that were on when we came in, were now turned off, though they were still open and still had other customers inside. We even commented how dark it was. As we are walking out the front entrance, not even 15 feet from the front door, my mother trips over a parking curb, which was not painted yellow, no reflective strip, nothing. My 65 year old mother fell to the ground to the wet pavement in pain. My sister immediately went inside for ice, the staff in front was slow to get it, but did eventually realize what was going on, and they grabbed the ice and came outside to check. The girls who came out were very friendly, trying to joke after seeing my mother was responsive. They quickly retreated back inside though. Did not offer much service other than the ice.My mother tripped over a curb that was not properly painted, in the dark. She broke her ankle, and bruised herself up pretty bad.The next day, I emailed MO Hick to let them know what had happened. Not to ask for anything, except for them to consider keeping their lights on until they close, because apparently, they knowingly turn them off close to closing time, to prevent others from coming inside, and to recommend painting their curbs safety yellow. This could have happened to someone much older and much more fragile. Instead, I got no response. And when my mother called and asked to speak to the manager, she was only met with complete disrespect and hatefulness. This is when they told her they purposely turn the lights off. And that they would be responding to my email. It is now 2 weeks later and we have not heard anything. Which is what is leading to my review. My family will not dine somewhere that does not care about their customers or about their safety & wellbeing. They lost an entire family of customers.

They never disappoint - absolutely love the sweet and spicy sauce over the pulled pork.Parking: The lot is not huge and there's a significant dip close to the building. I think it may be drainage related- be careful with elderly and feeble getting out of car if you park close. The tile/glass mosaic on the front entrance sidewalk is cool.
Been across many states, this is definitely worth the drive from wherever. We drove 6 hours????

We had a lot of fun here. The food was very good, we had good service even as our server was serving all the people, and it was a family friendly environment. Our 12 yr old decided he wanted the beef rib, the server did check with us as he ordered it, and he really enjoyed it. It was a HUGE piece of meat, on the bone and said 12 yr old thoroughly enjoyed the experience of eating this HUGE piece of yummy meat. The others of us also enjoyed our food, though we were not seeking a special as the other child was.

This place is hands down the best barbeque off the 44 exit 210. As a truck drivers my husband and I have had our share of barbeque around the country. We both agree this has been the best. Great atmosphere amazing food and such a cool place to stop.
I drive from Minnesota just to eat here! Over 8 hours one way. That should tell you all you need to know!

This is a must stop if your on 44 in Missouri. Definitely in my top 5 BBQ places I’ve been to so far. Has the sampler plate ribs brisket and pulled pork. With baked beans and coleslaw. The ribs were smoked perfectly. The pulled pork was excellent. The baked beans were perfect. Also got a side of fried locally picked mushrooms. Wasn’t your normal white mushrooms caps like you normally get. (See pic) the big pieces were really good. Didn’t taste like normal fired mushrooms. Had almost a meaty taste. The smaller pices just tasted like fired something and were ok with the sauce they give you. Also thier prices are realy reasonable. Usally spend about 22-25 bucks at other places for less food. The sampler plate was only 17. And had more food than most other places. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️’s definitely going to stop back in next time I’m out this way. Also they have a small spot cross the street you can park a truck and trailer, or motorhome. That’s always a plus for me.Parking: Plenty of car parking. Room across the street to park two tractor trailers or motorhomes
