Due to a really pleasant experience, I am going to give this place another try and a boost to 4 stars although I really want to lean closer to 3.5. Restaurant is small with a handful of kind of uncomfortable tables (table base is really big, not a lot of room for your feet) in a small front-area, a counter for ordering, and a narrow bar "next door" through a doorway. Ordering experience was stellar. Great service with a smile from the delightful woman manning the register. I also liked the thoughtful placement of a cart with to-go containers, extra silverware sets, and napkins so you can help yourself to what you need. 3 of 4 of us ordered a lunch special which was probably not the best intro to this place. 8 inch pizza with up to 3 toppings (generous), side a drink for a decent price. it's really hard to evaluate a pizza in an 8 inch size. Pizza to me was ok. I thought the sauce needed more flavor and I thought the toppings (especially onions) didn't cook all the way through before the crust finished. My pizza was just a little bland. Side salads were fresh, had plenty of good veggies, and dressings were good but the small bowls made it hard to toss. My daughter especially liked the big artichokes in the full-size house salad. We had both the bone in and boneless wings and they were fine fresh, well cooked, but nothing outstanding. The lady at the bar was very nice and helpful picking a house-made beer which was decent. As we were getting ready to go back to the counter to order some warm cookies for the kids the very nice woman at the counter brought a plate to our table. Very generous and just a great service experience. Although our first intro to the food was only OK, I do think the service was good enough to try a couple of full-sized pizzas to really judge the quality. I wish I could do 3.5 stars but the great experience was enough to bump them up.

I work at a local dealership, and this is one of the only places I can count on for consistently GREAT food! They do their best to make every customer happy. DON'T COOK TONIGHT, ORDER A PIZZA FROM BOARDWALK! ? (I would if lived closer)
We found this place by googling pizza places while we were out xmas shopping. Such a good atmosphere and friendly employees. The food is phenomenal. The cookies are to die for. Don't fear my beeraholics, there is a bar and they have their own brewed beer and TVs not to mention the pizza specials and Happy hour from 3-7 M-Th at the bar. They have earned our business for sure.Please note we are pizza lovers and are harsh on judging pizza as we have worked in the pizza industry. Dining area is smaller, but nice. Oh and if your like us we love the pricing and the options for pizza. Ask about their specials!!! Also, their owner is very good at letting you know he appreciates you and your business.Love that its locally owned and the only one around.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizzas, salads, desserts,veggie calazonesKid-friendliness: I have seen kids here.
One of my favorite places when I am in the area about every other week. Great food, great value for the money, but also service is consistently above and beyond. This place is a testament to the value small businesses can bring.
It is a tiny restaurant that serves very mediocre pizza. Nothing seems to be made from scratch. Save yourself the trip and just grab a nice frozen pizza a frozen toasted ravioli. It’s the same thing.

Anybody who gives this pizza a poor review needs to take a trip to New York. It's one of the closest pies you'll get here to a true NYC pizza. They do a great job.

Coming from NJ/NY we are very serious about our pizza! Boardwalk Liz/ is by far the best and closest you can get to real pizza! My family loves their wings too! They ate also very attentive to allergy issues!

Always like to try out different pizza joints. Picked up an 18inch cheese and garlic bread. Both overdone and dry. Bland crust and a generic tasting pizza sauce. It's not NY style at all. Closer in flavor to Marco's pizza chain. Better pizza at Pizzarelli or Chiro's for the area. Still haven't found a real NY slice outside La Pizza in U-City. My hunt in West County continues.
