The food was terrible. Grilled cheese was cold with the cheese not even melted at all. The French onion soup was brown broth and onion, again not warm. My BBQ sandwich was cold as well. Terrible place to have a meal. Save you money,go to subway and save your $ 30.00 dollars. Wont be back ever,and we live here.

We went here for drinks. They have a delicious assortment of shots, with the pickle shots being absolutely amazing!! We really like the German chocolate cake shot also!! The Lion King drink is quite sweet though. Tasty, but too sweet to be satisfying. :) Staff are great!

So, I stopped in on a Friday morning seeing the open sign up. I was curious if they would serve a bloody Mary. The girl behind the BAR said she was only age 20 and could not serve alcohol. What!? I thought the sign said BAR! She said her boss would be there in an hour. I said, "Ok, I'll be back." After walking around and visiting other shops I returned. The boss, another female that didn't seem to be much over 21, said she would make me one. For $9.24, I was handed a small glass with a sliver of a slice of a pickle and 3 old tasting green olives. The drink itself didn't taste bad and the salt & pepper on the rim was a nice touch. The conversation in the room between the two of them and another young man was peppered with curse words that I didn't care to hear. There was not another soul in there until a couple came in for breakfast and the two women shouted, almost simultaneously, "We're out of eggs!" (So you're open for breakfast, but you don't have eggs!?) They sent the couple down the road to another establishment to dine. After I left, I was telling an owner of a local coffee shop about my experience, and she said, "That's why they're not doing very well." I don't know who reads these reviews, but if you're the owner. I'd suggest getting some new help. I know it's hard to find good help, but if you're BAR is going to survive, it needs it.

Dorothy was the best. She made our morning awesome. Made the best latte my husband has had and was so pleasant. Hailey and Maddie were so helpful about the town. The food was great. We stayed in the loft and from food, service, and stay this is number one!! Thank you.

Food is AMAZING! Loved their Rueben sandwich was best Rueben Iv eaten. The breakfast burritos are also amazing.
Kid-friendliness: They are very welcoming toward kids and have plenty of options for your little ones.
My husband and I had dinner here recently, it should have been a red flag to us that we were the only customers in there on an evening at 6:00pm. We both ordered the chicken bacon Swiss sandwich. The online menu, and the in restaurant menu both said the sandwiches were $9 (with a side of chips). When she rang our order up, they were both $13. The quality of the sandwiches were so poor, that neither of us finished them- gross squishy chicken pieces, and no Swiss cheese that we could find. We were excited to give this place a try, but we definitely won't be back.

A surprise for the day. We stopped because of hunger. This place has great food, very friendly service and the atmosphere is from the 1800’s. The original wood floors and interior brick walls gives a feeling of long ago. You will remember this place and will want to come back when you visit Hermann again. Jen was our service provider. FIVE STARS.
