Zach, the manager is the best! He is so friendly, makes FANTASTIC coffee, great customer service, the ice cream is tasty and has a great variety, music was lovely but not too loud, chocolates are AMAZING!! Simply amazing. I got a pint of ice cream to go, and it was lovely.

Since moving to Joplin, Caroline's has become one of my fav places to go on the weekends.....and sometimes the weekdays as well! Love their ice cream and the selection...some of which I haven't seen anywhere else for decades (i.e Superman and Smurf ice cream).The only big quip I have is that they have been closed on at least several occasions when I went by and the hours listed on both Google and in the restaurant itself indicated they should be open. I understand things unexpected come up, but gas is too expensive to waste these days! If they would give advance warning on when they will be closed, that would be very nice.Also, the prices here, like pretty much everywhere else serving dairy products, have gone up drastically since I moved to JoMo back in January. I've found it's a good idea to pay close attention to the prices handwritten on the chalkboard behind the register and on the display cups/cones on the counter rather than on the main board behind the ice cream counter in order to avoid any "checkout surprises".Despite the above issues, I will continue to be a patron of Caroline's and I highly recommend this ice cream shop!

Great experience! Things seem a little expensive, but this is a specialty shop and it should be expected. The chocolate was oh so good!!! The ice cream was outstandingly delicious! I am so grateful my friend and I didn't go to a chain ice cream store. The building is beautiful, the art gallery across the hall is absolutely wonderful. The staff in both places was friendly and polite. The store was clean and the shelves were well stocked and neatly kept. I will definitely go back here and I highly recommend stopping here.

This is one of our favorite places for ice cream and coffee. My wife and I come here often for quite time just to visit. It is a great place to sit and relax with someone special or to bring your kids for a delicious treat. They have 32 ice cream flavors and coffee any way you like it plus retro candy and sodas. If you haven't visited this local shop you are missing a great experience.

Got two different chocolates labeled as wedding cake and birthday cake. They were just caramels inside decorated like they should look, but just tasted like caramel. Disappointing... Expectations not met. The others were good. The service seemed to lack as I had to get one of the two employees attention to get service and interrupt their chat after a few minutes of staring in the case expecting someone to come over.
