Don’t support a place that charges $32 for a double Bloody Mary & won’t tell you before hand. Terrible. Stopped by before the KC Current home opener & it was obvious they were taking advantage of the increased traffic with a limited menu with higher prices that usual.

Conveniently located in River Market. Charming dining environment and has a wonderfully spacious patio for eating outside as well! Bartender makes excellent drinks. 10/10 will come back again!

This is the Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffle. It’s perfectly seasoned for KC flavor: a little bit of heat and a little bit of sweet. The breading is light, yet still crunchy. Along with a white mayo-based bbq sauce, it’s served over a cornbread waffle with maple syrup and a bed of greens. Perfectly balanced. I recommend it alongside a limeade for a perfect bright kick. My friends likewise recommend their sandwiches. We’ll definitely be back when we return to the KC City Market.

Our waiter was the best. Brought us steak soup samples to try and glad he did admit was flavorless so we didn't order it. He made excellent suggestions and when it was time for dessert he tempted us with two sorbet samples. We would have gotten the ginger/hibiscus sorbet, but filled up with our great lunches. I go her a lot for brunch and now will do so for lunch.

One of the best spots in KC for good food and drinks with a friendly staff. Shout out to Tasha, she's amazing.

One of our favorite restaurants in Kansas City since it opened. Fantastic food and cocktails in a great atmosphere. Great vegetarian options available! We love sitting on the patio during the nicer months for a cocktail and appetizers.

Second time to dine at Brown and Loe...the service was excellent and the recommendations of the wait staff were appreciated. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. We did not feel rushed even though the restaurant was very busy Friday evening.

I called to let you know we would be late as our guest was running late. The receptionist checked to see if if we could be accommodated - yes! Since we had play tickets we ordered appetizers and our waitress was fantastic. She was friendly, upbeat and made sure we had our bills so we could get to the play. Thank you for being so thoughtful

This is my “go to” place for brunch. Food is outstanding although a bit pricy. Two entrees and two cocktails $82 with tip so I can only afford to go three or four times a year. Service is fine - nothing outstanding, but the food ... unique and delicious.

Looking for a new restaurant to try? Dined there for the first time recently and I can't wait to return. Food is outstanding and we had the best server, very knowledgeable about the menu.

When our table wasn't ready at our reservation time, my date and I were immediately offered seats at the bar for drinks on the house, which was very kind! Exceptional service and food with a unique menu. Will be back again soon!

I would definitely suggest dining here! Service was phenomenal, and the food was even better! I had the Ham &Pear sandwich and it was so good! My fiancée and I had a dinner date with another couple and the ambiance was perfect; it wasn't too loud, and the staff was more than patient with us as we stayed chatting away about 45 mins past close ??.
