My family stayed at this Hotel for a convention. The employees were all very professional, helpful, and pleasant. The restaurant had a great breakfast, and the employees there were very nice and attentive also. It is hard to beat this location in the downtown area. It is also a close walk from the KC Streetcar and the power and light district. You can walk from the hotel to the convention center in and underground walkway. Very unique place, you can just imagine the roaring '20s in there. Love the architecture and the originality of the place. We loved everything about it...valet parking that is well worth the few extra dollars, champagne in the lobby at checkin, extremely helpful desk clerks, great housekeeping dept and a restaurant that is amazing! Great location...always clean...but today it was COMPLETELY under staffed....no help at breakfast for two servers and no help at the front desk this afternoon as the Chiefs Parade was ending...lost valet keys. Lost luggage. Please staff accordingly.
