This is such a cute spot! There's a lot of great options for the build your own bowl & it was tasty. The dining room was sparsely attended on a Saturday evening, which was kind of nice for us. We wish the people behind the counter were a little more enthusiastic & helpful, like to guide us down the line-- but we really enjoyed our respective creations!Vegetarian options: Tofu is a protein option along with many veg & legume, but the tofu is very plain. There are dairy free sauce options that will spice it up.

My favorite poke spot in the kc metro, I have never had a bad meal here and i’ve been coming here for years. The ingredients are always fresh and they are the only place i’ve seen to offer spicy salmon. The offering of toppings is my favorite of any place i’ve tried and they are generous in putting them in your bowl. I always feel like I get my moneys worth here and you can’t always say that about poke places. I always build my own bowl but if you’re new to poke you could try one of the pre-decided bowls on the menu.

Update: the manager called me to apologize and gave me a credit for a free bowl!Flavor was good! Fresh ingredients! Unfortunately I asked for my sauces on the side, and then got none of the ingredients after that. Missing items included the extra seaweed salad and avocado that I paid extra for. Boba was a bit old tasting. Missing ingredients on my bowl: Avocado, Seaweed Salad, Pickled Ginger, Green Onion, Red Cabbage, Sesame Seeds, Crispy Onion, Chili Pepper, Extra Seaweed Salad. Made for a pretty bland bowl. Spent $70 on 3 bowls and a spicy crab salad. 10/26/23 Really sad about the missing seaweed salad. ?
