Good location for sampling a great selection of craft beers. Has both indoor and outdoor seating with 6-8 different styles of beer to drink.

Great place and good IPA (Gold Rush Hazy). Very friendly service as well.

I shall return!

Great bar tender

Was here a couple of weeks ago for my Bachelor party had an awesome time great bartender great beer will for sure be coming back when I’m in town next time!

Top notch brewery!! Really rad interior. Incredible beer. My non beer drinking mother had lots of options! I will be back very soon. The black lager and the Mexican lagers were stand outs to me! Excited to try the golden ox on the next trip down to the area!

Stockyards Brewing Company in the west bottoms is my favorite taproom in KC. Amazing and friendly staff and the best live music you can find in the city. They also have a fantastic space available for rent for private parties. Check it out; you won’t regret it!

Best beer in Kansas City!!

The Sunday Serice features local acoustic, bluegrass, and Americana music every Sunday from 3 to 6. The Matchsellers were amazing 9/29/24. Great venue, great beer, food truck, and plenty of parking. It is located in the old Golden Ox lounge. Very historic cozy bar where everyone is having fun.

Took a long time to get acknowledge once seated. I had to go to the bar to order. Food was cold, server got our order wrong twice. Left it on the bill. Will never return, stay away!!!!! There is better food and service out there.

Every single person I came into contact here was so remarkably nice; from the patrons to the bartenders to the people in the musical act. I felt notably safe and welcomed - it kinda blew my mind.
Needless to say, I'll be going back regularly <3

My favorite brewery! Not only do they have great beer, and a great selection of tequila and whiskeys, but they also happen to be very kind people.

They are in the old stockyard exchange, where all the cattle that came through KC went to be bought, sold, and slaughtered! A piece of KC history!

Now the building is Stockyard Brewery, The Golden Ox, and a bunch of office space that I really don't know anything about.

It has a cool rustic cowboy feel with lots of nice wood-grained bar, super comfy leather stools, and a cool island sitting area across from the main bar. You can even see the brewery right down the hallway to the back room and second bar. Definitely some fresh, delicious, local beer.

It's a really cool spot. You're sleeping if you haven't been down there to at least check out one of their Sunday Service events! They have some great bands set up in the back parking lot area and jam out! They usually have a food truck of some kind in case you don't feel like eating next door. Good times folks! I highly recommend it.
