Sadly the owner Rosie has passed away. While she was alive it was good food for a good value. Now the price has gone up and the food quality has gone down.

1st time here. Hubby ordered club sandwich. He received HALF of a reg sandwich...NOT A CLUB! Brother ordered a $15 omelet thinking it would be big enough to take some home..it WASN'T. He said it was just alright but wouldn't order that again. I had French toast. Tasted good but very small portion. The waitress NEVER came over to see how it is & if we needed anything. She was pleasant in the beginning. We are not from the area but brother is & he said he wouldn't go back

Rude and unfriendly waitress and cashier (no teeth lady). Worst food ever! Swedish steak and gravy( premade patties) was awful! Never again

As their food prices increase, the quality of their food decreases. Ordered the chicken strip dinner, the 3 tiny strips I received were just overpriced cheap chicken sticks that were overfried and bland.

I don't think their scramble eegs are real eggs, what is worse than that is being served COLD BACON, You would think when you pay good money that way would cook the food fresh. Biscuits Are frozen, Can't even make their own biscuits? Very disappointment

We ordered a Philly sandwich and got cornered beef as the meat on it white cheese, peppers were not cooked no onion and canned mushrooms. I ordered a side salad and it consisted of 2 lettuce leafs and the cost was 4.50. Service was poor and we mentioned to the cashier why the used corned beef on the sandwich and she just shrugged. Will NOT ever go back!

Love coming here with my Grandpa. It is a home cooked meal type of place. Prices are fair. Portions are average to big. The service is always great with friendly faces. We love coming here for breakfast!

Went today to eat lunch today with family we were visiting. We have eaten here many times in the past because of the down home cooking.

Today there were 8 of us and 3 ordered the breaded tenderloin. The tenderloin came with hot dog buns and the side of fries were almost non existent. I counted mine and there were 23 and most no bigger than a thumb. We asked for hamburger buns for our tenderloins and were given them. All 3 people took a bite of the tenderloin and spit it out because it was really mushy and gray colored. I told the waitress and an older man came and said he would get someone. He took my niece's sandwich with him and an older man came back with the meat from her sandwich and told us there was nothing wrong with it and proceeded to take a bite of her tenderloin. He then proceeded to say, "This is bullsh☆t, we can't afford this and there is nothing wrong with them. I would eat them all, they were brought in this morning." He was very rude to us when all we wanted to do was make him aware of the issue. I was appalled that he took food from a customers plate and then ate some of it. I will be calling the Adair County Health Department. I am sad this happened because this has been a place we can go as a large group and everyone find something good to eat. This is no longer the case. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

We did not ask for anything to be done about the sandwiches, mistakes happen in restaurants, but after the way I was treated, the lack of the owner wanting to have a decent conversation, and being told to eat somewhere else from now on I refused to pay for the sandwiches. Our bill was still almost $110.

Such a shame.

We come here 2 times a year with family and have always liked the food, but today it was horrible. We sat 35 minutes waiting on our food. There were other people that came in 20 minutes after we did and got there food before us. My husband got a bowl of Chilli and the hot roast beef. Chilli tasted like spaghetti O's from a can. Mashed potatoes and gravy weren't edible. I had a burger and fries. Burger tasted funny. Sure didn't taste like beef. Couldn't finish it. I'm afraid we won't be going back. Such a shame. Use to be a great place.
