Our first time to stop at Carol's while we were camping at Onondaga cave State Park. Great place to stop. Very friendly people. It's all family. There's mom there's daughter there's son there's granddaughter. I ordered two pancakes, and Jan the mother, made me aware that the pancakes are as big as the plate so I only ordered one. And she wasn't lying. Couldn't even eat the whole thing. My husband got eggs and sausage and toast and it was very good too. We'll definitely come again...read full review
Carol’s has great old time southern cooking that we return to again and again every time we’re in eastern North Carolina. Terrific friendly service with a varying menu In addition to old standbys. Favorites are fried and barbecue chicken, chicken pastry and Sunday ribs. Love the great vegetable sides. Worth going out of your way for!
Great meals all around. Truly homemade dishes from entrees to sides. Super nice owners, family run and it shows in the quality of the food, the quantity you receive and the new neighbors you will meet. A bright spot for sure
