Service was slow. The waitress wasn't friendly. The buffet was mediocre. Nothing was labeled. Noone explained there is no written bill, you pay the cashier after telling her what you had.

The server ignored us as we sat waiting for service. After a few minutes my toddler was crying "eat" and they still walked past us completely ambivalent. We ended up walking out.

The photo was of my BLT that I waited at least an hour for. Do you see the tomato? Probably not, as it was 1 small slice, cut thinner than my fork. The chips were cold and soggy. The waitress argued with me that my soda, was diet (it most definitely was not). We have been regulars, but this was not a good experience in any way shape or form. Only one waitress on a Saturday night.

What can I say about K.C. Place… very great atmosphere calm relax, place great and friendly people. One of those cozy, homemade restaurants that you would want to take your family to every week. Lots of stuff to look at it on the walls. The decorations are excellent.. they even have a Buffay, which is awesome because they’ve been dying out since Covid.

It was nice but took 45 minutes to get food. People that came in after us were getting served ahead of us.
Seated ourselves and waited, and waited. Not one person waited on us or checked on us. We finally got up and left, no service no food.

We had lunch at KC's today. We ordered the buffet and a ribeye sandwich. The buffet was hot and fresh. There was plenty of choices, it was all very good. The salad bar was fresh, cold and also had plenty to choose from. The ribeye was a huge sandwich with melted cheese on fresh bread. The food is delicious and the staff were all friendly. We look forward to going back.

Very much the typical all you can eat starch and fried food buffet. If you’re into that, you will be happy! The chicken and catfish were fried well. The salad bar is pretty good, several choices of toppings. Definitely the locals favorite. Decent selection of regular menu items also available.
