Matt's Steakhouse

Although the dining room is now permanently closed, Matt's steaks were, by all measures, the best steaks in Mid-Missouri. The bottomless salad and bread sticks were the best around. The service was attentive and friendly, and in two decades of dining here, never screwed up an order. I will say that this place is okay, not great, not poor but just okay. Honestly, you'll get the same experience if you go to a Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse or something equivalent. But based on its location, you'll go here for a steak because there's no other options nearby.Parking: More parking than this establishment will ever have customers

The steaks here are second to none. Our server has been with them for a few years and was knowledgeable. The only hang up was the selection. They were out of many items. The first person who ordered asked for a baked potato. Apparently that was the last one. They didn't have door of the other sides. Some struggles with stock and staff. Call ahead and see if they are open. The staffing issues have caused some hour adjustments.
