The beef brisket sandwich was dry and lacked flavor; however, the sausage was good. Besides the food, there were also many dead flies on the window sills.

Large portions, small effort, small impression.
I ordered the premium combo platter, which includes two meats and two sides. The portions were quite sizable, but a little dry and pretty low on flavor. I got the pork, which was tender enough, but had little smoke flavor, was dry in texture, and relies on the sauce to give it any flavor. Now I am not a fan of sweet bbq sauce, and this was the typical overly sweet tomato based sauce with probably liquid smoke for aroma. Probably comes from the supermarket.
The half chicken has the barest tinge of smoke aroma, but I shouldn’t have to search for the flavor. It wasn’t brined, it had very little flavor.
There is only one sauce, so if you use it to flavor the meat, then every meat has exactly the same flavor.
The platter is a substantial meal, but they only set out the flimsiest of plastic fork, bends in half with the slightest pressure. I mean come on people, give me a fork so I don’t have to eat with my fingers.
So pretty much every part of the experience is half baked or cheaped out in The silliest way.
The meat was tender, including the chicken, but that is it. Well the slaw was tasty and not sickly sweet.

It was so hot when we got there that the flies were lined up at the door to get out of the heat. I thought it was going to be bad eating with flies flying around but once they flew in the door, they nosed dived to the floor because of the air conditioning. So we had a good BBQ meal with no bugs. If you're traveling by, it's worth the stop.

Dear God, we aren't native to the area and the gal that took our order was SO helpful in getting us to share items and get the most for our dollar and try the most items.
Everything is delicious. Definitely recommended!
This food... this BBQ sauce. So so bomb.

The food here is off the chart. I had catfish and ribs. So good. The ribs here are true 'falling off the bone' slow-cooked goodness. Would recommend the deluxe platter since everything is good, but you can't miss the ribs here, they stand up to anyone's.
Parking: Decent sized lot, but not big enough for large trucks and trailers.

The young woman taking orders is amazing! Best customer service that we have experienced in years! She was very patient with us and informative in menu choices while we were ordering for our first visit there. The bbq is delicious! The bbq chicken, spicy sausage, turkey and brisket are our faves!

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We'd driven past several times before and were curious as to why there never seemed to be much traffic in their lot. It was busy today, though! As soon as we stepped in the door, there was a line of people waiting to order at the single cash register; apparently, a Harley group had stopped in and the restaurant's not really set up to handle sudden crowds. The foyer is very small, so we squeezed in and waited about eight minutes to order. We ordered the ham sandwich and brisket plate. 28 minutes to prepare while we waited for a table to open up (seats 40-50). The ham sandwich had generous slabs of juicy ham on it that would have accepted a nice slice of smoked cheddar if they offered it. The brisket was a bit dry and I was glad we ordered sauce on the side since it was rather ketchupy. The beans were OK, but not very smoky or savory. The potato salad didn't know what it wanted to be since it looked like a creamy style but came at you like a vinaigrette. Anyhow, our experience was somewhat mixed.
