We go monthly and love it. Couldn’t ask for a better spot only a few hours away. I learned to trout fish here and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Still have yet to catch a lunker though!
The people that work here are the nicest people I have ever meet. Oh and the food is amazing the cook knows what she is doing. Never had a bad meal this weekend.

Montauk Lodge is a friendly place with great service. The meals are delicious and the waitstaff is attentive, making it perfect for a nice meal out. The fishing is fantastic, and the surroundings are beautiful, with plenty of activities nearby. For those camping at Montauk State Park, this is a must-stop location with a restaurant and a shop full of items. Families will find it to be an amazing experience, as everyone is so friendly and the service at the lodge is incredible. Just be cautious with the pizza, as it comes with nacho sauce instead of tomato, which might not be for everyone. There are beautiful, big, shady walking trails, making it a wonderful place for kids to visit. Overall, Montauk Lodge is a lovely spot to enjoy a day trip or a few days away, especially if one enjoys fishing and exploring nature.
