Steak inn is the best spot for dinner in shell knob. My bf and I eat here probably 2 times a month. For amazing steaks, drinks, salad and delicious bread it’s not often more than $50 for the 2 of us. The service is fast, the food is good and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Called 3 times early, no answer and then was told no reservations unless 6 people and not much wait, took friends from out of town for birthday, drove 45 minutes and was told at least 1 hour wait, will never go back, was a disappointment, save yourself time and go to monet or branson were they want your business. Why not take reservations so people aren't out front mad waiting for hoursParking: Horrible small lot and a long walk, had to park across street

We visited the area from Texas and wanted to have a nice steak dinner date for our anniversary. Steak Inn came up in my search, so we decided to check it out. I'm happy to say that they did NOT disappoint! The food, the service and the atmosphere were absolutely perfect! It's a quaint, little place that kind of takes you back in time. It's very reminiscent of an 80s steak house. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! Everything was just as we hoped it would be. I highly recommend y'all check it out of your in the area.

The food was very good, but quite overpriced and the service was terrible. They forgot our bread and my drink and then when they finally brought it (just before our meals came out) they forgot to bring a cup for it (hot tea). Forget refills for water - you're not going to see your waitress. It's really too bad the service is so awful as the food really is good. I'll overpay for really good food, but I refuse to for bad service.

We had reservations. Getting seated was quick, took a while for our waters to come out and for the waitress to bring others drinks our group ordered. Had to ask twice for my sons drink to be brought to us. Salad bar was well stocked with many options and very delicious. Menu does say the salad var is one trip.only. Most of our group ordered our steak cooked like the menu stated - meduim well was supposed to be no pink....they all came out with pink on the middle. Baked potato came out with nothing on it, my group had to ask for butter and sour cream (even after the waitress asking & group saying yes they wanted that when ordering). Anything we asked for during our meal, it took the waitress a while to bring, and she wouldn't always bring it all at once. The food was good, and the service could have been better. Fresh bread was brought out to us when we were about done with our meal instead of while we were waiting on our meals to be brought to our table. Was disappointed in the experience from all the great reviews I was reading. For the price we spent, we could have gone elsewhere, got more food and better service. There were no prices on the menu, so we were a bit surprised when we got our bill.
