This was my first time here and it was very pleasant. Ron the bartender/server was outstanding and he recommended the spicy steak bowl which was very tasty. There were several other dishes that I was considering so I will definitely be making another trip to try them out.

The beer was good but the barbecue nachos were, well I'm not sure what they were! There was nothing that slightly resembled barbecue at all. The whole thing was covered with what looked like Cole slaw. I will not be going back!

We had a large party of 9 and were greeted at the door and seated immediately. I had the Proper Margarita and it was as it should be—not sweet, lime juice and all the right tastes. I decided to try the mushroom soup—a full bowl—and was very pleased! The only bummer was that they were out of the garlic croutons when we were there (6:00). The scotch egg was super, too, and someone else ordered the pub chips with dip. For the main, I stayed with a smaller appetizer and got the warm goat cheese with honey, pecans, and locally made Naan. It was amazing! Our daughter had the salmon—perfectly cooked-with grits, our son-in-law got the shrimp with fresh parpadelli, and my husband got the smash burger special. Everyone at our end of the table LOVED the food. Server was efficient and polite, not pushy at all. We’ll be back for this farm-to-table experience again!

The off-menu special of the day, Spicy Pineapple Wings, featured plump wings, but lacked a strong pineapple flavor. The well-known Fish and Chips were enjoyable; however, the garden peas it came with were oversalted and contained unexpected corn pieces. The plating of the food was beautifully done. The one-star rating is not due to the food, which was overall a 4/5, but rather the fact that water was dripping from the ceiling onto me and our food. To avoid the water, we tried switching seats at our table, but it did not help. The waiter seemed to have noticed, yet he did not say anything.

Great food! I ordered the bangers and mash, my husband ordered the shrimp pappardelle. The bangers and mash is a very hearty dish. The mash and onion gravey was delicious. The shrimp pappardelle definitely has a kick (spicy). We also ordered the Scott egg and brussel sprouts as a appetizers and they were very good. I definitely recommend this place!

This place is quirky and cool. Service was excellent, helping us pick out a few dishes. The lamb meatball sub was good but not my main jam. And a little confusion on how the green curry was spiced meant that I got Sriracha on the side, but I lived the creative combo of ingredients and the aromatic basmati rice. The kale Caesar might have been my favorite bite?? Oh and the fries were delicious :)
