Buyer beware!!!!! The rib dinner meal is listed as $22 but when we got the bill it was $44.The food was decent but they were out of half of it so ribs were one of the only options. The manager refused to correct it even after we showed her the menu with the price we ordered from. She said it just is what it is.Then she was super unprofessional talking trash with other customers because we were upset. Our server was amazing so it sucked to end our experience that way.Kid-friendliness: No kid menusParking: Not many stallsDietary restrictions: No chicken options mostly pork and beef when they have it in.

The building itself is vast. Really open concept takes a bit to settle into the metal loft style feeling. Food is on a simple menu. Service was great. Food even better. Long wait time for food approximately 30 mins.

Best bbq in the business. The best pig meat around, you can't beat BEAST. I'm getting hungry just making this post, definitely have to go here.

Food is excellent. Came a lil cold I came pretty late before they closed and they ran out of some foods. The pork steak was the best I ever had. So good I forgot to take pictures. Speedy service good music: Ozzy

Hello there, I was craving some delicious BBQ, and my colleague told me about Beast BBQ, so we took their word for it and tried it out. We were so glad we did as BEAST Butcher & Block has delicious and healthy food. It was a pleasure to receive excellent service. Very pleasant and friendly and it was my first time there. There was a pleasant ambiance, which made it a comfortable place to enjoy tasty food. Yes, I would recommend it repeatedly. The food was excellent as well as the service. That's just too good to pass up -

Looking for an incredible brunch buffet? Look no further than BEAST for their live fire brunch. $30/person gets you a room full of the best barbecue and breakfast spread. In addition to a fire cooked omelet station, charcuterie, waffle station and carvery station (included brisket, smoked salmon, porchetta, ham, bacon, turkey, sausage, pineapple), there were fried ribs, hot honey chicken wings, biscuits and gravy, mac and cheese, TO DIE FOR crispy breakfast potatoes and decadent bread pudding, brussels sprouts and so much more. To top it off, there was a huge table spread of inventive dessert options as well as included drinks like cold brew, OJ, tea, Cool Aid, etc. with the option for $20 unlimited Bloody Mary, mimosas and beer. Couldn't have been more impressed with the spread, quality and friendliness of the staff. We'll be back!

This is a great place! We got incredible service from the young man named Elijah at the front. I mean truly personable and kind and made us feel welcome with solid suggestions. The food was perfect. I got the fatty brisket which was seasoned incredibly well, Mac and cheese which was very creamy, Brussels also made to perfection. My wife got the rib tips, fries and coleslaw, all delicious. Not a bad first St. Louis bbq experience. It’ll be hard to beat!!

I always enjoy a visit to Beast BBQ. I recently went to Beast Butcher and Block's sunday buffet and i will say I think it is the best sunday brunch buffet in St. Louis. If you have never tried their selection of meats and sides i would suggest starting with the $29.99 pp sunday brunch. This all you can eat extravaganza not only has breakfast favorites like an omlette bar, but has a large selection of their smoked and fire roasted meats, like their brisket, turkey, sausage, etc and it is such a great value if you want to try everything. Also, not only do they have breakfast sides like grits and eggs, but their well known sides like their mac n cheese and brussel sprouts are on the chow line too! Don't forget their delicious dessert bar and their array of drinks. You can add on bottomless mimosas and bloody marys if that is your thing too! Perfet place to take a group of friends or family visiting in town-- plenty of options! and Dave Sandusky has gained a national reputation for his Beast brand so if you are in st. Louis, you need to check out Beast!

I'm not sure why this is on here as Quick Bites. I wouldn't classify it as such. Visited the Manchester location on a cold night and it was cold inside. That's my only complaint. We ate with our coats on. That said: This is the best bbq I've ever had. I do not consider myself an aficionado but I know good food. I also had my son with me who does his own brisket and ribs and pork on his green egg and I value his opinion which is the same as mine. We overdid it with the intent of taking food away. Got brisket, ribs and rib tips, snoot, cauliflower and brussels sprouts (veggies were amazing!) and fries (as part of a plate). It was all fantastic. Perfect temp. Amazing flavor. They have a variety of sauces at the table but nothing needed extra flavor at all. I live in NC so we have a lot of good bbq here. I've had bbq in a lot of other places including KC and multiples places in Dallas and Austin. This is and was hands down the best for my tastes. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Let's say you've been on a hunger strike for two weeks or maybe gotten lost in the wilderness and haven't eaten in days--BEAST Butcher & Block has the brunch for you, my friend. For $30, this isn't the cheapest brunch option in town but it may be the most option-loaded. Come for the meat and carving station options but make your heart happy with the wide variety of sides. When we went there were 4-5 meat options at the carving station, build your own omelets, a huge array of sides (eggs, bacon, chicken, ribs, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, potato salad, beans, and many many more), a huge number of desserts (probably at least 6 different types of cookies, brownies, multiple cakes, bread pudding), and anything you could want to drink (sodas, tea, coffee, cold brew, juice, and my personal favorite that I had to laugh at "spa water"). The staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back when I'm on the brink of starvation again so I can get my money's worth :)

We got the sample plates that included chicken, brisket, kielbasa sausage, and rib tips. The meat was good. I liked the sauce the best. The baked beans were my favorite side.

We went for brunch . For 29 dollars you get a lot of choices . The star is the meat station where they will carve you a slice of everything from salmon to ham . Also an omelette station , waffles and an array of other items including desserts that are just meh ( skip the desserts and fill up on all the good stuff !) Lots of choices to choose from . Friendly service .

Finally made it here after several attempts where they were randomly closed. Even tried to go to their IL location and was unsuccessful. Definitely not worth the wait. Service was uninviting and the staff lacked personality/engagement with the customers. It was like they were just going through the motions. Felt like I was eating in a stale cafeteria - the inside definitely doesn't match the outside vibe. The meat was good - I had brisket & belly, both had a good smoke flavor to them. My sides (green beans & fries) were cold and really didn't have much flavor to them. My friend got a sandwich and really like it but again the side was lacking. Obviously the sides are just to accompany the main course but they should at least be warm and flavorful. There's better and plenty of BBQ options in the area, I'll skip this one based on service/atmosphere alone but also because of the mediocre food. Sorry!

Brisket, burgers, barbecue, you name it. This is the place you wanna go in St. Louis. They get their meet local and make everything on site. Among their menu, their brisket plate is a solid dish. My favorite might be the backyard burger. Their entrees include sides and portions are generous. If you're craving a juicy smoked brisket or thick seasoned burger, look no further.

Get the pork steak. Do it. I don't like pork and this is one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten.
