Cinco de Mayo Reviews

4.1 - 29 reviews

Mexican and Latin American food, music, dance, arts, and activities in St. Louis's Latin and Bohemian neighborhood launching with the People's Joy Parade by area artists, musicians, and social/culturally/political organizations and figures. This well-attended Cinco de Mayo is the best in the region.

Our first time, we had a blast. Would have liked to see more authentic Mexican jewelry, went looking for a silver bracelet, mostly found lower quality souvenir level things. Kinda disappointed I couldn’t find a fresh margarita, everyone just had giant coolers of some mystery mix and no one knew the ingredients, but everyone had the same so there’s no chance to compare the drinks usually made by all the different, fantastic restaurants on Cherokee.

A fantastic time to be had by all. The mariachi bands are incredible. Great place to people-watch. You must try all of the food there from Empanadas To tapas to fish tacos. Plenty of vendors selling everything from sombreros to scarves to dresses to Southwestern jewelry and accessories
