Got the BBQ pork steak, which was good value for the amount of food, but the food overall was lackluster in flavor. If you really enjoy blues music then maybe the atmosphere will be fun, but overall was more so just kinda sad. Street parking only.

Hammerstone's is ALIVE, friendly and authentic. We were there for breakfast and even though it was 9:00 am and there was no scheduled entertainment, the friendly energy of the local crowd and the staff was off the charts. Our food looked and tasted like it was made with pride.Our waitress (who was also the bartender) was super attentive and each one of her table visits made our experience boo coo better. I had the Soulard Omelette, served spicy for that extra Nawlins kick. I'll be back in St. Louis often and this will be my go-to every time.

Stopped on the way out to Kansas, my love partner and I shared a 1/2 pound ruben sandwhich ...corned beef on marbled rye with garlic parmasean fries.You have NEVER had any corned beef sandwich this lean, this tasty, and so satisfying, unless you've eaten here before. Again WOW...THE service was amazing, it was like having your favorite aunt owning a restaurant. WowFun atmosphere fun people neighborhood joint with live music!!Stop in you will not be disappointed!!!
