Best food I have been had in a while, not only tasty, but the textures and presentation were beyond.

I've lived in Saint Louis for about a year and a half and am moving this week. I've been to iNDO 3 times since moving here. It is probably my favorite restaurant of all time. I came as a final goodbye tonight and it was so bittersweet! I can't believe this place isn't rated higher on Google. Absurd. The food has layers of flavor, is interesting, fresh, and always so well done. Dishes are clearly so well thought out, with visual, textural, and flavorful elements that just scratch an itch in your brain. The quality of the sashimi is superior. I sometimes forget we're in Saint Louis because man, that is some good fish. The service also never misses, with knowledgable staff and perfect coursing of dishes. Thank you to everyone working there for giving me such fond memories!!

Three of us enjoyed a fantastic meal and great service. We got the shrimp toast, the eggplant, curried short ribs and the fried rice. All were excellent! Sarah took care of us, she was super friendly and attentive. We will for sure return.

Some of the food is knock-your-socks-off delicious, but other items are decidedly meh. Having been to Sado, the sister restaurant, I think the owner and chefs are much better suited for sushi. Also, the wait staff is incredibly slow. The auto-gratuity of 20% was earned neither by our waiter (who had to re-confirm our drink orders, which he took an average of 15 minutes to fulfill—bottled Sapporo) nor by the quality of the restaurant. Overall, would have been a four-star meal for two if it were ~150. At over $300, I can’t recommend anyone come here

The food was on another level, truly fantastic. And they were playing Lamp I am pretty sure the whole time, which is the coolest damn thing you could play, was jamming out humming to Jupiter & Place in My Dream and it was a 10/10 experience. To whoever chose the music, you’re dope and have excellent taste. To whoever prepared the food, same to you! That yellowtail dish on the middle of the menu was insane btw, wish I had a bucket-full, could eat it every meal until I die.

Food was unlike anything I ever had! There’s a lot on the menu, but the servers did a great job explaining and guiding you through. Sashimi, rolls, and curry salmon were all fantastic.

“Heated” patio was freezing. We were sat at one of the tables without a heater nearby. We asked to move to empty tables closer to the heaters and were told no. The food was subpar for the price we paid. 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill for subpar service.

Hostess at the front was extremely rude for no reason. Worst part of the whole experience at the restaurant. Food was excellent!

Horrible hostess. Very rude and did not want to serve us at all. I suspect homophobia.

Amazing, mind blowing food, but absolutely awful atmosphere. I made reservations 4 weeks ahead for the Saturday after valentines day and was excited for an Asian experience that might allow me to relive my days in south Korea. I ended up getting seated on a patio (and I had no idea this was going to happen). The patio was 45 degrees and I could see my breath, and I was shivering as all my food was served. I couldn't even listen to my wife and the server I was just so cold. This shouldn't be a thing. I feel like I was kind of taken advantage of, to spend $200+ for dinner and be extremely uncomfortable the entire time is amazing that they get away with this. That being said, the cocktails and the food somehow made up for this and prevented it from getting a 1 star.Dishes to recommend: any of the sashimi plates, shrimp toast is very Thai, Gyoza, palm sugar ribs are good but VERY RICH.Dishes that I thought were off flavor a bit: the salmon. It was topped with eggs for presentation but they made it too salty and took away from the flavor of the fish in my opinion.

Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. Our server Sarah and the support staff took amazing care of us as my girlfriend and I celebrated an early Valentine’s Day. Everything we had from food to drinks was perfection. I would highly recommend anyone in Saint Louis area to make a stop here for a special occasion.

Amazing food! Our server, Amanda, was awesome. She had great recommendations and was a very attentive server. We don’t live in Saint Louis but will definitely be back. Highly recommend the hand rolls and shrimp toast. Everything was well executed.

My hubby and I came through St Louis for a little getaway and had reservations for Indo on a Wed evening. We opted to sit at the bar and Logan took care of us for the night and we had a fantastic time. We ordered the big Omakase which had an assortment of five hand rolls of Chef's choice, they were not cone shaped, rather the nori acted as 'taco' shells. I must say, they were very tasty and a fun take on hand rolls. The Toro was definitely the best. Then we had the King Salmon, Eggplant dish, Scallops with Ikura and a miso ice cream dessert. I'm not a huge fan of eggplant but this dish was surprisingly good. The King Salmon was very rich and fatty, paired well with the cocktails, and the miso ice cream was a little on the sweet side but the texture and combo of sweet and salty was on point.Logan is an awesome bartender and host. He definitely showed us a good time and showcased the Midwest hospitality beautifully. We were very glad we sat at the bar to get the full experience. We highly recommend checking out Indo -- great food, great drinks, and laid back yet sophisticated vibes. Don't sleep on this one!
